    Runners!

Just had a nice 12k, weather was good and legs felt good! Shaved a few seconds off my 5k and 10k times (21:10 & 43:03).

Bad timing at the moment! I went to my local running shoe shop in Wilts and were really helpful, let me try on about 30 pairs after they did my gait analysis etc! Found Asics fit my feet much better than Brooks or other brands as my feet are slightly wide. Think there's a few specialist running shops in Bristol?

    Runners!

Well done everyone! I did the Bath Half in 1:44 which was good but very slow start due to amount of people! Currently done 60k so far this week and 440k this year, still really enjoying it especially now the weather has got a bit nicer.
  4. Next one of the first big companies to suspend all online sales due to concerns from warehouse and distribution staff. Guess sales have massively dropped as no one needs new clothes for staying at home but could be start of other companies following suit.
  5. Definitely limit your time or remove social media apps would help.
  6. At the moment yes, guessing big strain on warehouses that require human pickers and delivery drivers so may be restricted in future...
  7. Re the list from The Sun, taken from here: https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/874732/230320_-_Revised_guidance_note_-_finalVF.pdf See exceptions list on table.
  8. Travis Perkins are closing, just announced. No confirmation from the others yet. Sounds like could be click and collect only for 'essential' items according to Twitter.
  9. Fairly sure it won't/can't be monitored. They've suggested 1 as in other countries people were using the exercise reason as an excuse to go out, and ended up banning that too.
  10. Most vets around here are only open for emergencies only. A few have closed completely as ventilators gone to NHS
  11. close all shops selling non-essential goods, including clothing and electronic stores and other premises including libraries, playgrounds and outdoor gyms, and places of worship;w we will stop all gatherings of more than two people in public – excluding people you live with; and we’ll stop all social events, including weddings, baptisms and other ceremonies, but excluding funerals. That is why people will only be allowed to leave their home for the following very limited purposes: shopping for basic necessities, as infrequently as possible one form of exercise a day - for example a run, walk, or cycle - alone or with members of your household; any medical need, to provide care or to help a vulnerable person; and travelling to and from work, but only where this is absolutely necessary and cannot be done from home. You should not be meeting friends. If your friends ask you to meet, you should say No. You should not be meeting family members who do not live in your home. You should not be going shopping except for essentials like food and medicine — and you should do this as little as you can. And use food delivery services where you can
  12. There's obviously going to be some tough times ahead, a lot of readjusting and change but not quite sure we are at doomsday scenarios yet...
  13. They will need to bring in the lock down soon, just seeing some of the comments on social media of the amount of people not following advice is crazy. People genuinely asking about where they can take kids next week to visit, soft plays etc, and saying they wont stop their kids meeting up with large groups of friends.
  14. https://www.buzzfeed.com/amphtml/joeydurso/army-lockdown-london-coronavirus-fake-news?__twitter_impression=true Yeah one of numerous fake images doing the rounds
  15. https://amp.theguardian.com/world/2020/mar/18/italy-charges-more-than-40000-people-violating-lockdown-coronavirus?CMP=share_btn_tw&__twitter_impression=true "On 10 March a 30-year-old man was stopped by the police in Turin at 2.30am while soliciting a sex worker."
  16. Cheers for that! Checked online and they had some backlash for it being in store only so they are doing limited online sales too with the code BOGOF just bought some birthday presents for my daughter!
  17. Assume this could be closing schools, canceling sporting events etc.
  18. https://111.nhs.uk/covid-19 online questions, don't need to phone 111 unless you've been abroad to an area with outbreak or been in contact with confirmed case.
  19. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-51796072 Remaining in "Containment" stage, nothing to see here...
