This virus is not doing my health anxiety any good at all - I thought after my CBT finished I'd finally got a handle on it, but this is ramping it right up to the top of the scale again.
Not helped by all the theories either (although I must say a couple of them I read today made me spit the cornflakes out - its apparently been caused by either 5G or a plague missile from North Korea, there are some right crackpots on social media and no mistake)Definitely limit your time or remove social media apps would help.

Alternative view on the Coronavirus situation from Peter Hitchens.
Perhaps the cure is worse than the Virus?
Worth a listen ! Just saying.
Wow Dan Wotton and Peter Hitchens? Double cretins.

It doesn’t matter if business is essential or not. Can order pretty much anything on line and it will be delivered
At the moment yes, guessing big strain on warehouses that require human pickers and delivery drivers so may be restricted in future...

Where are the Sun getting this? They’ve made this up as far as I can see.
Re the list from The Sun, taken from here: https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/874732/230320_-_Revised_guidance_note_-_finalVF.pdf
See exceptions list on table.

Apparently hardware shops are allowed to open - I assume that includes the likes of Tool Station, Screwfix etc.
Travis Perkins are closing, just announced.
No confirmation from the others yet. Sounds like could be click and collect only for 'essential' items according to Twitter.

Does leaving the house for triathlon training count as one form of exercise a day? Marathon run? Big cycle ride?
Fairly sure it won't/can't be monitored. They've suggested 1 as in other countries people were using the exercise reason as an excuse to go out, and ended up banning that too.

What about vets? What happens if pets get sick?
Most vets around here are only open for emergencies only. A few have closed completely as ventilators gone to NHS

close all shops selling non-essential goods, including clothing and electronic stores and other premises including libraries, playgrounds and outdoor gyms, and places of worship;w
we will stop all gatherings of more than two people in public – excluding people you live with; and we’ll stop all social events, including weddings, baptisms and other ceremonies, but excluding funerals.
That is why people will only be allowed to leave their home for the following very limited purposes:
shopping for basic necessities, as infrequently as possible
one form of exercise a day - for example a run, walk, or cycle - alone or with members of your household;
any medical need, to provide care or to help a vulnerable person; and travelling to and from work, but only where this is absolutely necessary and cannot be done from home.
You should not be meeting friends. If your friends ask you to meet, you should say No.
You should not be meeting family members who do not live in your home.
You should not be going shopping except for essentials like food and medicine — and you should do this as little as you can. And use food delivery services where you can

Starting to think that humanity may never fully recover from this situation. There's too much damage being caused to the world's infrastructure that will only worsen with time and may never be restored.
Remember the days when football seemed important?
Sorry to sound overly bleak.
There's obviously going to be some tough times ahead, a lot of readjusting and change but not quite sure we are at doomsday scenarios yet...

They will need to bring in the lock down soon, just seeing some of the comments on social media of the amount of people not following advice is crazy.
People genuinely asking about where they can take kids next week to visit, soft plays etc, and saying they wont stop their kids meeting up with large groups of friends.

Yeah one of numerous fake images doing the rounds

Entertainer - Fair to say its panic stations!
Cheers for that! Checked online and they had some backlash for it being in store only so they are doing limited online sales too with the code BOGOF just bought some birthday presents for my daughter!

Sensible move. Hopefully some can benefit from this

According to a tweet, copied onto the Forest fans forum (which Id accept is hardly the most reliable source!!) the Forest players have been tested and results expected today.
As I say, not reliable, but would make sense.
Results back negative

I’ve got to self isolate even if I’m not having COV symptoms? Time to call NHS direct for clarity I guess
I don’t understand. Care to explain?
https://111.nhs.uk/covid-19 online questions, don't need to phone 111 unless you've been abroad to an area with outbreak or been in contact with confirmed case.

Just checked the SWX Twitter feed and they describe it as 'an early show' don't know what the stage times are, but there is a club night on afterwards.
So I would imagine they will be on stage significantly earlier than the average gig you attend.
Yeah Friday night gigs at SWX have a 10pm curfew so headliner is usually on just after 8

Did my first half marathon distance this week in 1 hour 50. Enjoying getting out and like the long distances rather than a 5k!
I now know what fartleks and intervals are as was chatting to a proper runner who said I need to do these in my shorter runs to gain speed. To be honest I'm not in the smashing PBs space at the moment so happy to build up gradually.

Good work everyone! Still going strong, averaging about 30k a week depending on work and weather!
I am tempted to sign up to a few organised 10ks or the Bath Half and raise some money for charity, how have people found running the mass events like that for the first time? I quite enjoy just putting my headphones in and being in my own space so not sure how I would find the big events like that

Next one of the first big companies to suspend all online sales due to concerns from warehouse and distribution staff.
Guess sales have massively dropped as no one needs new clothes for staying at home but could be start of other companies following suit.
