    Hi,

Happy to help if I can.

When you say family, how many of you and what sort of ages?

What sort of budget? The Marais is great for wandering around and also for eating and drinking, but probably not the place to stay with a young family.

Paris is quite small when it comes to walking to the various tourist attractions (compared to London, for example) but, again, it depends on the ages - the Métro system is also efficient and reasonably priced.

Thank you! Just sent you a DM

  2. Booked flights to Paris for a weekend with the family in December and looking for some tips on where to stay and things to do for a few days...

    - Which area of Paris is best for a short trip? I've been recommended Marais...

    - Any hotel recommendations?

    - Any restaurant recommendations?

    - Any advice of what to do over a few days including the usual tourist stuff?

Or any other tips would be amazing, thanks!

I think from those 2 videos we can rule out Gary Rowett

But we've been told by various ITK posters on here that we've already has initial talks with Rowett!

How do you make statements like in these two videos about style of play etc and then decide to talk to Rowett?!

Brian Tinnion is going to be kingmaker - 100%

Of course it'll ultimately be signed off by the Lansdowns - but they're putting their faith in Tinnion this time.

This will, to all intent and purposes, be a Tinnion appointment.

Is that better than previous manager appointments that were picked by the 'suits'? - Holden etc. I'm guessing Tinnion will want someone who uses the academy

The owners are on manoeuvres and have already been looking for a potential replacement for Pearson for three weeks (since the Leeds defeat).

They've spoken to several potential managers already, one of whom is Gary Rowett.

They've spoken to many agents and so my assumption is that agent chat has got back to Pearson, hence his comments last Saturday that he was fighting for his job and his comments today that he may, or may not, be still here next Saturday.

Bottom line is it's when not if. I'd have thought failure to beat Wednesday and a decision could be made.

Most concerning to me is that one of the people that told me Pearson's departure is imminent, also told me that Barton would be sacked too...

Don't suppose you can say who else we have spoken to?

Just looking at out of work managers... Nathan Jones? John Eustace? Dean Smith? Michael Beale?
