Playing so well again. Following on from the Luton game here. Another good watch today so far.
-
Just have to take the positives from tonight. We have played well but poor defending and finishing in a game where we have been the much better side. If we can get firing at one end or the other we should be more than comfortable staying in the division.

Just can't defend crosses into the box. Doesn't matter how well you play if you can't do the basics.

******* had to be him didn't it??

This is such a good watch. Just hope we get that first goal to keep them playing this well.
-
All over them really. Just need that end product, enjoyable watch so far.

, he scored that 6th and then misses a sitter for his hat trick!!
-
Can't knock that finish. Nobody's fault just a great goal.
-
Bit naïve from JD, should have made it clear there was contact instead of trying to recover the ball. Look what happens straight after.
-
FFS City really??

Thought it looked a clear foul on Vyner
No, he just got outmuscled by a very good striker who probably should be playing at a higher level.
-
so soft, Vyner is a complete mismatch there.

The more he plays and confidence he gets by hitting the net and the manager keeps trusting in him as Nige clearly does then he will flourish
I will never be happier to be wrong. I always though he is a good player just lacked composure IMO, if he gets it right in front of goal he will end up as some player in the future.
-
I have been critical of his composure in front of goal but well done Semenyo, great finish there!!

So frustrating as we have been really good today. No way we deserve to lose this.

If he walks across and there’s a near post header though…
You either stop the cross first or win the first header.
That didn't happen though, he guessed wrong and were 1-0 down. Not the keepers job to worry about who win's the header from the cross imo.
-
Keeper shouldn't be guessing where the ball will end up. If he follows the ball it's an easy save.

Easily the best performance over 90 minutes this season IMO and against decent opponents, all of the City team did themselves proud, well played. Also what an excellent referee. Enjoyed watching the game +++ my heart rate was even fairly comfortable throughout.
Well get ready for 30 more minutes of it!!

What a strange comment. I've said many times before that he's a fine player who needs some coaching to become a truly great player. Made a big difference in the second half but does indeed lose the ball in key areas at crucial times (see Coventry away as an example). Currently I'd say a £15 to £20M player who could become £50M plus.
I don't trawl people's post history before replying to a single comment. Your entire comment was a backhanded compliment. You literally slated him 3 times before begrudgingly commending his forward play. In a thread praising the guy you could have cut your entire post down to the last 7 words.

Still does some dumb stuff, loses the ball in key areas. Got away with it at the end. Made a big difference going forward though.
How did you manage to get those words out with those gritted teeth?? Give the guy some credit ffs, he came on at half time and had a hand in 2 goals, covered every blade of grass and genuinely had a good game.
-
Get in!! Well done lad's winning that from 2-1 down.

Great player but always seems to have a mistake in him, explains why he’s playing in the championship.
What league do you play in then??
