The Council still hasn’t released the planning permission. Presumably there has been a delay signing the legal agreement (section 106).

Could this be what SL was referring to when he said they were still having problems with the council in his interview with Twentyman.

If you were opening a Nandos franchise at a new retail park that also had a football stadium, would you:

A: Open one in the Stadium that gets footfall every couple of weeks and shut the majority of the time or

B: Open one in the retail park where it is open to everyone 7 days per week from lunchtime until late evenings?

If this ever happened it would be facing out like our coffee shop, but I don’t know why he’s getting excited as the club will not see any money from it. All pie in the sky as the stadium ain’t happening anyway.

I do not know one single person who has stopped watching the Football to then change and go to the Rugby. I know a few who do both who never previously watched the Rugby, and a few who just go to the Rugby who never previously.

That poor Saggie must have thousands of City mates to have found out his "fact" of there being many who have changed. Because I would bet the house on it being completely made up bullsh1t (or he simply knows one person).

Ironically I know a gas who has stopped going to the football and now buys a bears season ticket every year.

A quick question for you. If it wasn't for Lansdown's extensive investment, do you think you would be in a higher league than them?

Or, to put it differently, given the amount that Lansdown has invested in the club, is he not entitled to expect the gap (16 places) to be a lot, lot bigger?

Lansdown had aspirations for you to be a lot, lot bigger than you actually are. When he leaves, my assumption is that equilibrium will bring you back down again.

Giving it away in this post aren’t “YOU”

He's one bloke, obviously not wired right if he's in denial about figures which have been posted by the ticket office on several social media sites.  Haven't seen or heard any other Rovers supporters stating this - him being a season ticket holder doesn't make him a typical example of Rovers fans.  Bit like the bloke who supported your lot, and wrote in his book about City fans targetting police dogs, to injure them - I don't imagine that the majority of you shared his views.

But its not 1 bloke, your lot spout this shite all the time, i used to work for a company were for some reason 50% of your support worked, anyway they both used to come into the office on a Monday and if the Gash had played away they would nosh each other off about the thousands that had travelled and how much better and bigger your away support was than the s%&t when in fact it was in the low hundreds.

You work with a very strange bloke, number of tickets sold has been on social media, around 700 at the beginning of the week I think.  He obviously doesn't follow Rovers very closely, or he'd be clued up.

He's a season ticket holder, just cant help yourselves can you.....

Don't want to be pedantic but it's a company on Facebook that makes them for all clubs, the City one is sadly equally horrific

I stand corrected, my observation still stands they seem to be following us on a lot of things, they even have a fans park of sorts now.

What is it with that shitstain of a club trying to be relevant?

    Forever in our shadow.

Have you noticed this Gorridge bloke of theirs has copied every thing that we have done that has been a bit successful I.e. the  writing on the inside of the shirt for one thing.

He can’t think of anything original for himself. Other than the shite palm tree shirts.

    Hi Everyone.

Firstly I just want to introduce myself. I'm Sean Henneberry the brother of Martin, (Tinners) as he was often known. Although I read the forum I have never joined as a contributor until now. I have been overwhelmed by the sheer volume of tributes that have appeared both here and on other social media platforms. I would like to offer my sincere thanks to all of those who have payed Tinners such amazing tributes since hearing of his passing. I am truly humbled by the many kind and often touching stories about how he was such a valued friend and City stalwart. As you can imagine this has hit me and the family very hard and we are still trying to come to terms with it, however reading all of the love and kindness both from people who knew him well and even those who didn't has really helped me personally through this last difficult week. We were extremely close and shared many happy and not so happy occasions following the club we all love. He truly was  C.T.I.D to the core and will leave a huge gap in my life and those of many others. I suspect some of you on here know me already so I'm sure we'll meet up and drink a toast to my wonderful brother next season. Things will never be quite the same for me again but Martin's legacy remains and he'll always be there for me at the Gate and in so many other ways.

    Love to All.

    C.O.Y.R.

    Hi Sean

Nick, Hannah and me are doing the “Walk a 100 miles in June” to stand up to cancer. We are going to do the Orchard to the Gate one Saturday (a route you and Martin have taken a few times) anyway if you fancy coming along it would be good to raise a glass in the Orchard first before we start off.
