I came out of the ground after the game not too despondent thinking it will be our turn soon, if only I had known then what I know now though with hindsight I'm glad I didn't.

I came out of the ground quite despondent naturally, but took it on the chin. However, I very soon realised that unfortunately, we may have well missed a golden opportunity to reach the dizzy heights for a long time.

    And here we are.

155/1 with Paddypower for this senario.

I've got 220/1 with Skybet. I like an outside bet.

Please don't let it happen. I'd be happy to lose my bet but the payout is a bonus.

I did win a decent amount on their last day flukey promotion.

Its a funny ol game football.

Supposedly so. I read an interview with the boss of Ferrari a while back. He was asked how you persuade those ‘petrol heads’ to accept electric Ferraris and his answer basically was speed - or acceleration. He recognised that they just needed to work on the noise!

Certainly do, or we'll all be getting run over in the CAZ by fast and silent killing machines?

Absolutely love my electric car.  It absolutely destroys all comers from a standing start at lights.

what it doesn’t do well though, is motorway driving - you’ll get about 60% of the advertised range.  That’s a big issue, and I would imagine range will double each generation of vehicle.

Ah the old hare and tortoise thing.

What's your 0 - 60? Heard they can be rapid.

The rules rely on the Euro emissions standard of the car and the dates they quote are the dates on which that standard became compulsory. It”s possible that a particular model was compliant with a higher standard before it became compulsory.

So, Euro 4 is the lowest standard that’s exempt. That became compulsory in 2006, but I’d guess that Mercedes were building cars to that standard in 2004.

    Must've, mine is Euro 3.

Not complaining mind, great excuse to keep driving it.

Chaos getting into the ground. Never seen anything like it.

Drab game in all honesty, not helped by awful officiating.

A good night for the city though.

Thoroughly enjoyable sporting spectacle. Not an entirely open running extravaganza, but SA started the game looking to win, Bristol took on the challenge and beat them.

    SA started with 11 internationals.

Queued for about 4mins to get in at about 7, no problem, it was a huge crowd.

Second half much better than the first. And the Bears were missing key personnel.

    My enthusiasm has been reignited.

ps thought the ref was excellent. Not his fault the TMO team couldn't do their job properly.

Was it just me or did we mess up again. The announcer clearly said the bugler would play the Last Post, then it would be followed by a minutes silence which would be ended by the referees whistle. That's how it's done.

What we do, and have done in previous years is, as soon as the Last Post finishes a loud roar goes up instead of the silence. The referee blew his whistle immediately but it was just wrong. Just a small thing but needs pointing out because technically we never gave the minutes silence.

Indeed. The announcer stated what would or rather should happen, however, its football fans, not the brightest bunch generally.

Pity really, even though it sounded like a cracking atmosphere during the game, the opportunity was there to show due respect.

  8. BBC Sport reporting he crashed into advertising hoardings, not concrete.

Either way, thoughts with him, family, teammates and friends.

Really hope he makes a full recovery and the club make changes so it can't happen again. If they can. As if, for example, an opposition player exerts great force on a player near the touchline at speed, then said players can travel a significant distance outside of the playing area.
