Reminded me of Clarksons goal against Leicester although maybe a little closer than May's goal.

Good first half especially considering how hard they were trying to injure our whole midfield . We played some lovely through balls sykes and bell should of scored . The 2nd half we didnt play as good in the final 3rd and not as high tempo . Almost scored through a delightful cross from i think it was Mehmeti and Huddersfield almost scored a own goal if not for good goalkeeping again . We deeply missed williams , King did alright considering but I do think we need to rest James as soon as Naismith is back as he is irreplaceable. Scott didn't play badly but not as high standards that we are used to .

Mix of good keeping and poor finishing otherwise we are playing great!

Yeah I think this is the best team we could put out, the only possible change I'd be tempted for us to try is Bell for Weimann and switch Bell to LW and Mehmeti central.

We didn't take our clear two chances in the 1st half and even the Cardiff manager admitted they were lucky to go in at half time without conceding . I don't think max had much to do In the 1st half . 2nd half wasn't pretty but still worked there keeper with the free kick and him getting sent off too .Cardiff did well to take advantage of being more fresh and playing wide in specific overloading our left hand side, which we were dealing with until williams went off . I do agree with what you said about us missing Conway , his movement and goal scoring. Look forward to him playing alongside Sykes and Naismith pinging through balls to him too.

Ahh sheesh these injuries! Not surprised we look a little under par after the man city game but this is seriously unlucky. Makes you wonder why we let Towler go until we had a definite replacement.

Scrappy game , letting Cardiff have the ball so we can counter them , sykes has put in two lovely back post crosses . We need to see more of Mehmeti and Bell though .

Always enjoyed Mcciost as a commentator he was very complimentary of us last night and even brought us up praising us again during the soton grimsby game tonight .

Lovely assist by Sykes putting off the keeper , a draw was about fair although we edged it but with Atkinson injury our squad depth will be fully be tested . Good run by Dasilva for the pen, would of liked to seen Sykes be a little more selfish at times when in good positions . Lovely to broken the Pen duck and be the ones to score last minute .

ah we need more central presence up top! Vyner pressing a bit too high and Sunderland catch us on the break Tanner could of been tighter good finish though. Very end to end game not out of this at all but need to get hold of the ball centrally .

we are defending well but that Atkinson injury hit( looks serious!) our Rhythm and Kalas's distrubtion isn't the same and we are missing Naismith's playmaking but very positive signs from Scott and Mehmet unlucky not to score. Bell had a lovely touch for the Mehmet chance but has had limited service, expect to see Wells on early 2nd half .

yep i expect to Sunderland to bring the game to us and we can enjoy countering more which we are set up better for. I'd like to see Mehmeti Scott and Sykes behind Wells on Saturday.I think it's harsh on Bell as he has been in great from but Mehmeti appears to be on Scott's wavelength and will help retain the ball more then Bell . Crazy to think what we'll do once we have Conway back a very exciting time to watch City!

Considering how much he spent on January signings that's a pretty strange time to sack him although I didn't think he'd be a good enough manager for the prem anyhow.

He does seem to find those pockets easier to find in this formation , pring/bell/scott linking up together is a very exciting combination to look forward to .

They just interviewed Bell on final score live on the iplayer, he seems chuffed and so he should be!
