If that had been the first game it wouldn't of felt so bad but I'd still of been disappointed with our performance and Southgate's lack of changing the formation so we could have a stronger hold in midfield to push on.

Usa have done good to done good to stop our tempo , our 4 2 31 is more like 4 2 4. I expect us to change shape by 60 minutes if we don't get better. We need Bellingham on the ball further up the pitch so as phillips would be the obvious player to bring on .

yep they have had a decent press and have got behind them a few times but lack a good final ball. Brave with the high line from the defence but its working for the moment.

A decent first half watford barely been on the ball we did great at winning the 2nd balls. Pring has been excellent , I think we need to get through balls onto the front two faster . Wells and Conway have been linking up well.

I'm not saying we would definitely be better but hear me out ..... last season Dasilva did okay playing rwb and Williams has played at cb ... vyner did play his best in the centre of a 3 , Whilst williams is capable of bringing it out . So something like:- O leary Williams Vyner Atkinson Dasilva Pring James Scott Weimann Conway Wells

Yep we definitely missed Tanner today.

Williams did okay at covering for the non exsistent RWB and Scott did a lot of running about but nowhere near his Sheffield Utd performance which don't get me wrong he can't do every game but to be so far off. James did okay maybe I was harsh on him. what I had meant was our 3 cm's set back most of the game and invited them to play through balls between our cb's and 80% of the time get a one on one with Max which obviously the defenders have to be held accountable for too. Bell did have a good Cameo though and as I said before Max was great too.

Not a great game and would of lost without Max. Our midfield was non existent. Seeing as we were playing players out of position I dunno why we didn't just put Scott at RB and DaSilva at LB to go 4 at the back.
