I think we could if won more convincingly, Its hard to know whether Bolton defended well or we didnt mix up our play enough? Agree with what others have said some good inidivual perfomances but not functioning aswell as recent, quite a slow tempo. Its a shame Taylor and woodrow didnt come on earlier think we would of seen more goals. im Not having a go the front two but boltons defence were knackered., I'm knit picking but i think at times fam and Bobby should try and link up more so we can counter faster. Then again its early days and im sure It will get better with time. Still another 3 points in the bag!!

Like this although would swap Brownhill for Hegeler. Will not be suprised to see 352 formation and think would better then 442.

It must be the Christmas spirit but I feel in a positive mood about today's game. we will create chances with Reid and Tomlin starting, I agree with being worried about our left side but if can we control the midfield then this shouldn't be a problem. I fancy Tomlin scoring in the first half!

I'm surprised we have stuck with 442. I can see Huddersfield having all of the possession, who play 1 upfront. Think this will be a tough game where if we are too narrow we will be there for the taking. Hopefully we stick to our game plan and play well though

I thought Rovers had there usual sell out crowd..... for a second as I saw loads of blue and white scarves before realising that Barrows home kit is blue and white. Shame Rovers can't take there huge away following to a prem ground now.

I'm sat on the fence regarding city's current form. on one hand we are 10th not far off the play offs and yet I don't think we have been firing on all cylinders for a whole game. Then on the other hand I'm frustrated that due to defensive lapses at the end of games we have thrown away points. The barnsley game we should of defended better and the same yesterday, which if we had defended better in both we would of been 4 points better off and in the play offs. Then again we have had quite a few lucky games early in the season so maybe I shouldn't be complaining too much.

I think we don't play enough 1st time balls to him where he can run at defences or run onto through balls (not hoofed). also having no wingers on the pitch swinging in crosses probably isn't helping him either It seems barnsley are not giving Tomlin any space and winding him up which seems to be working.

Im surprised to see wilbs starting as think he is better coming off the bench. Hopefully I will be eating humble pie later on. I wonder if playing two up top is to match Barnsley s formation or playing a more open midfield because barnsley only have 4 in midfield so we don't need to flood the midfield so much. It will definitely be a game where we need our full backs to provide width!

Today was a tough game it Sounds like our luck has ran out , going from the radio it seems it was Qpr were the better team especially the 2nd half . I don't think we are playing any worse then when we won previous games but Tammy can't do it all on the scoring front. We also haven't scored many goals from free kicks or corners this season. I also think it is time LJ stuck with a consistent midfield and stuck with it.

Come on city 7 added minutes to get something from this game!!

Wow talk about giving it to them on a plate for the 3Rd, yes good finish but they just let him run into the box. Sad thing is 2 nil up only this would happen to city in the last kick of the game. No point blaming the penalty miss we sat back invited pressure. Did we have another chance after the pen?

It does seem they have good momentum now and back to back promotions would be impressive if it was any team but Rovers , However there is still plenty of time for them to slip into the beloved play offs . Ah you can tell is international break , that is way too long for a post on Rovers.

Oh dear one of those days.......

Even before bringing in a few players this week given Fulhams goal scoring exploits it was going to be a tough game . I really hope McCormack doesn't have a game like that Cardiff thrashing..... So I'd be happy with a point I know it would be huge for us to win this game but it's going be a tough game. Just a case of scoring as many as them today and we may get something!

Wouldn't be surprised to see wilbs and/or Agard coming on soon .city haven't had a lot of the ball this 2nd half.

Listening on the radio mk dons sound similar to how city were playing up to Christmas , hoofing the ball countless times to a striker who's game isn't holding the ball up . On a plate for flint and baker , a shame baker is injured hopefully not a serious injury. A 2nd goal early on would be ideal I expect mk dons to come out fast and wouldn't be suprised to see jet come off if he doesn't start effecting the game
