  1. Just checking from any regular users... I have never used it before but today needs must... Checked the Park Ride web site and it says shuts 19:20hrs on Sundays and Bank Holidays... Are we expecting AG1 service to run to the gate today ? Clearly shut before end of game ! Thanks in anticipation?
  2. Very true. Thanks to our friend wiki, a check on his playing career shows a good record games played. This last 12 months have been hard luck for him with two injuries in a row, but if the medical team believe with confidence he will certainly overcome them he has to be worth a contract offer. I believe a fit Kalas is the best defender at the club and was he not our record signing. We watch with interest but I suspect a deal will be on the table (similar to NW scenario).
  3. That’s interesting when NP stated in Bristol Live (or quoted) that KW will have to ‘manage’ his knee . Great news if this is correct. I would certainly like to see him play now ‘fit’
  4. With the Sykes suspension are we perhaps going to see him get some game time…a proper run of games. With this knee injury that NP states he will have to ‘manage’ and another couple weeks with the break, will we finally get a proper look at him…or will it be next season. Bit forgotten man really, with such expectations when signed from FGR.
  5. Glad we stayed at the gate. With around 18k bums on seats for most home games the 40k new stadium might have looked pretty empty. At a recent senior reds lunch Steve Lansdown was asked if there was any truth that the club owned most of the houses behind the Atyeo and that one day a new stand would rise and replace the Atyeo. This was knocked on the head as false. He stated that the corners could be filled in and capacity raised to around 35k but there is no plan or need at this time to do so. The re vamped gate is great stadium and happy we stayed
  6. There must have been some video editing going on…why would anyone clap that otherwise
  7. Did not hear that…however if NP had hinted it may be his ACL , Then season over for Rob…. Just hope for the best. the good news is that a new born fit Kalas is a massive bonus…but you do wonder whay options are & what else is about in the out of contract central defenders …one in Switzerland called klose ?
  8. And he fought off wolves with his bare hands in Rumania when walking in the mountains ?…
  9. Wow…never knew Kevin Betsy was also part of the ‘staff’ who has also left…remember him anyone in City colours
  10. Indeed…provided he is not one p1ssed off player who has seen his immediate riches vanish. Thankfully does not appear to be of that ilk.
  11. I am a great fan of NP but also find it strange how in one moment NP is pointing out the virtues of TK and the next he is 'gone' totally. He was blamed to some degree for the Lincoln City fiasco, but I recall a great player last season who used his experience and reading of the game to great effect.. Then of of a sudden I read on here on OTIB the trotted out comments 'legs gone' and all that. Aware he had domestic issues start of the season, as stated by the club, clearly business has gone on behind the scenes that we are not privy to. Expecting him to gone this window, or contract paid up and negotiated ? Either way a great pro as NP stated in the past, and shame if ends like this for him
  12. Any news on Wilson….really looking forward to seeing a ‘fit’ Kane Wilson…last news was on the 11/1 from Dave Fevs and I recall the club saying at the end of the summer it would be early next year..
  13. The book ‘Neil Warnock. Made in Sheffield’ is a quality read…recommend to any football fan. I picked it up on holiday some years ago and could not put it down…managing lower league teams and players.
  14. I remember Shail playing but would not have got Scott? in a quiz! Anyway Munro was decent with good pedigree
  15. Munro was ok, bags experience and in the side that beat Liverpool in perhaps our greatest night ever on the road… He was RB And Andy Llewelyn LB. Over 8000 City at Anfield…and the kop applauding BCFC at the end and I recall Stuart Munro pointing at the kop in almost disbelief…. Him and Jack Hunt very similar playing styles.
  16. Indeed…as you seen all the things he wants we have done….who would really want owners like the Foley or the Glaziers.
  17. Yesterday I heard on radio talk sport an interview with Bill Foley and his £120m take over of Bournemouth. It was amusing and enlightening when you think of our club. In a snap shot this is what he said about ‘his’ new club. intends on building ASAP a new 20-24k stadium and moving away as soon as from the Vitality building a new training ground and centre where all football and administration can take place from. creating a decent academy. strange, those are all the things we have now and achieved and I wondered why he did not give uncle Steve a bell to save himself a load of grief that will most like consume him over next 10 years? He could have bought us….or joined in. All we have to do is sort out the mess from LJ and MA and getting the playing side sorted and lift off! All the things Foley wanted to achieve to make B/muff successful we have done and got in place. Yet Steve gets rubbished in many place. And he is keeping Gary O’Neil and not pursing links with Bielsa as reported in media. so, if Steve gets some great American billionaire to join us, or a take over in entirety, would that enable the club to spend that money that was invested in the club…(pretend £60 million say) happy new year.
  18. May or may not have done us a favour last night. Depending on your view point. Any premier league sides watching him last night unlikely to be flashing the cash that we here would like to see.. current form does not look like a premier league striker in waiting. The chance of cashing in on Sem this window drifting away..I would have been happy for a fat fee to enable NP to wheel and deal and find us that dominant centre half.
  19. Every time I attend the Gate on a match day I enjoy that brilliant stadium, it’s impossible not to enjoy the match day experience and think about where we have come from facility wise. You have to believe that when it comes ‘right’ on the pitch, the green stuff, everything is in place. That is the Lansdown legacy, and thanks to them we will never go bust. The playing side and the facilities go hand in glove. we will get it right on the pitch, I have more confidence about that now than have had for a long time…NP had a difficult hand to play.
  20. That has got to be the 'kiss of death' ? Never realised he was at Stoke.. a really good player who certainly was, is a premier league standard striker...
  21. I was not there but from what I heard on RB seemed to have a good game, and a superb pass to set up the second (As per the high lights). Is this the first time he has played LHS of a 3 for us….would like to hear from anyone who was present. Well done KN..good to see you back
  22. Yes..and player season on LHS..but those in the know re ‘calf injuries’ can we be really confident he will be back December ?
  23. Well…I for one am really looking forward to his return, and while a ‘mistake’ is always in his game what he brings to the side more than makes up for this and my take is we have really missed his play…including wicked dead ball deliveries… However, his injury on around 6/10 was a calf injury and told by NP at the time likely out up to 10 days… Now we are around 35 days and little news..will the World Cup break give him time to be back firing all cylinders again ? Come on back Kai…we miss you ?
