Totally my thoughts. There’s no middle ground. No one who is slightly annoyed at NP’s sacking. No has to be a cultist!!

It’s unfortunately very reminiscent of most social media platforms. If you don’t agree then you’re always “far”right or “far” left and there’s seemingly nothing in between 😡

Let’s have some balance. It was a very poor performance. Improved with the changes. Can we blame Manning, it would be ridiculous to, are people allowed to miss Np yes. What’s the problem?

I would of loved to seen pearson given half of the scott money mind you! Also would of loved for City to have brought in a good striker in 07 08 in jan😂 life and city goes on

I thought the co-commentator was obnoxious and disrespectful particularly talking about how he would be better than half the players, and was particularly rude about Lyndon Dykes, who he said was atrocious and barely a football player. Made the coverage much worse in my view

Torpey wasn't it 😂 I thought that was abit strong

Baseball, basketball, american football, football you name it I watch it. Idk what my nationality ever has to do with it but gets brought up enough. Probably the insecurities of old blokes who have only ever gone as far as Benidorm or only deviate from football when the darts are on 🤣 and yea uncle ain’t a bad footballer I’d probably listen to his opinions over 99% of this forum

Joe don't forget the pumpkin spiced latte for Mr lansdown Monday morning👍see you then

I haven't read the thread so here's my opinion on today.

No blame on Manning atall but that was a dreadful game.

The only positive for me was when Knight was moved forward and TGH sat in beside James. Annis is not a Championship winger but may do more centrally.

As for the rest of the game, instantly forgettable.

Hopefully better to come plus we didn't lose.

    Agree with all that

What did you make of it then?

Playing by a distance one of the worst teams in the division who have won once at home in a year?

Pretty sure you were telling us last week just how dire it had been under Pearson, who incidentally had won both times he was in charge of us there.

    Big improvement?

What on earth does it matter if he won at qpr both times he was in charge, its different teams, different managers. We also got spanked by Lincoln while pearson was here, just a mental analysis

Then it's only fair we judge according to this, him, Tinnion and the board more than Manning.

We can judge him all we want (I'd like to think we can be around the playoffs come the end of the season) but yeah I'm sure he's aware of the fans disdain at the moment!

There’s a few who immediately upon joining began following each other and one established poster on here who continually slagged off Pearson

    Spooky eh

Not many ‘follow’ each other’s accounts , and to do it immediately on joining - sort of speaks for itself

Ever thought they may be mates outside the Internet?

Why not just express your view / rationale in a mature manner, instead of being antagonistic?

    Same for you @Cristored

And on the flip, let’s just get over Botgate and ALL OF US get back to good solid debate, rather than pathetic bitchy comments.

Fair enough 👍 it does work both ways

Are you suggesting that you can counter views but those opposing you can't?

There's no inner circle shutting you down (the clue is you're here posting) it's just natural that if you hold one view and 90% hold another, you're gonna face more replies opposing your view. It's the point of a forum, everyone can reply.

Anyway, +1 to the OP's view.

Love Nige. Hate how it happened. Support Manning.

On your last bit I too liked nigel Pearson on the whole it was good under him but at the same time I'm looking foward to seeing if this team is capable of some really good attacking football without the expense of blowing our defence apart.

No if you don't agree with me thats fine , it's the if you have a different view straight away it's the bristol sport employee shit. If we are talking about how we have a difference of opinion on nigel pearson and your counter argument is your bristol sport that to me is childish. (The clue is everytime me and few people i know personally on here make the views known on Pearson it gets shut down with bs crap)

Embarrassing isn’t it, dare not love Nigel you are an instant BS bot.

If constantly going to away games to the hulls and Prestons to play shit and have the long journeys home are part of my bristol sport contract then I quit😂 also going to Coventry going 1-0 up to then lose 3-2 against 10 men really hurt

Where have you suddenly sprung up from, Bristol Sport?

Just a longterm fan that doesn't share yours and others opinion, but don't let that get in the way of trying to label me👍

Just another example of the inner circle of members on this forum shutting you down if you don't agree profusely.(if you check my sign up date I was here before bristol sport was even a thing)

The biggest worry was Tinnion just lurking at the back. It’s time to give LM the benefit of the doubt. I was as angry as anyone last week but there is no point constantly looking back. Let’s see what the next few months bring before writing him off. And if he does fail it’s down to the three buffoons. To be fair if he succeeds it will be despite of them too.

As for the LJ comparison, LM has already performed better in his short career than boy wonder ever has.

Don't be worried mate Brian Tinnion I'd imagine is better qualified than anyone here to help run the club, and for the lurking hes going to be there to help show manning around and answer any questions that Sandra the tea lady doesn't know regarding the facilities. You are right on looking back though👍

He definitely has a few LJs and MAs in his locker.

It'll be interesting to see how the fan base react to his post match interviews, especially if we haven't performed.

We've got used to a man speaking to us in a considered well thought out way, with no 'Coach/ Corporate speech and terminology, saying it like it is.

I do recall some annoyance with the ever present "we are where we are" 😂
