Those two were out on loan at Argyle so had experienced first team football albeit at a lower league. Both had made their professional debuts with Plymouth.

Are you in some alternative reality?

Bobby Reid had played for Bristol City (both as a sub and in the starting XI with more than 30 appearances for City during the 2013/14 season), Cheltenham Town (Dec 2011), Oldham Athletic  (April 2013) before he went on loan to Plymouth in the 2014/15 season.

Joe Bryan had played for Bristol City (full debut starting against Leicester in March 2012 and a dozen or so further appearances) before he went on loan to Plymouth for a couple of months in the 2012/13 season.

I'm glad someone got the name correct, it is one of those OCD things that bugs me that people always seem to refer to it as Wembley Way

Empire Way and Olympic Way (commonly referred to as Wembley Way) are two different locations.

You seriously think Jon Lansdown is a credible Chairman of a £100 million turnover business?

What is the "£100 million turnover business" in question?

it's got nothing to do with you.

You already showed me how wet and limp wristed you are yesterday.

People on here trying to tell you how it is  when you've had a massive insight into it for yourself.

Maybe you could try giving some specific examples rather than working purely in innuendo?

It's also interesting to see Willie Kirk held up as a good judge considering his own fortunes in recent weeks.

How have you done this, they are not on sale yet

They were appearing earlier this morning - there was a button to renew in the "season tickets" page where it lists your STs. This has now disappeared.

Just renewed my season tickets for next year. Same seat at Ashton Gate. I guess it's easy enough to move it to the HPC if they don't sell many but...

Are they even meant to be on sale yet? Haven't see any announcement of details but can also see the option to renew if I log in to the ticket site...

At the Open Day I joined a big queue behind the Atyeo to meet Coppell.

When I got to the front I had my picture taken with him and enthusiastically said, 'Welcome to Bristol City Steve, we're all confident you can really take this club forward'.

Bit taken aback by his response, 'I wish I was'.

Yep, he was a very odd character on that open day - I remember someone wishing him good luck for the season and his response was along the lines of "we're going to need it".

Thanks for that. I suppose the EFL clubs could vote to amend their regulations, but I guess they have a participation contract in place with the FA if it is a mandatory requirement for member clubs.

Makes the FA actions worse than I thought.

Yep, I'd imagine the rules are just laying out the agreements that underpin the league pyramid but I'm not aware of anything like that being in the public domain.

Teams can opt out of the fa cup if they feel that strongly about it.

The EFL regulations requires clubs to participate:

"Further, for the avoidance of doubt, every Club, by becoming and remaining a member of The League, agrees to compete in the League Competition, the EFL Cup, The Football Association Challenge Cup and all other competitions conducted or controlled by The League and in which it is eligible to compete."

The Premier League rules also requires clubs to participate:

"Each Club shall enter the F.A. Cup."

A season or so back Otib was aflame with views saying referees were not giving City penalties, and some hinted at dark acts.

This season, to date, only Leicester have had more penalties than us.

Given the dubious nature of Saturday’s penalty I am deafened by the silence

Just imagine if there was a 6 page thread debating if it was a correct decision. Oh, there is.

Because the listening figures, like the gate receipts, would be miniscule.

I am all for women's football becoming successful in its own right but at present it is parasitically leeching money and press coverage from the well supported football team that has been going for over a century.

It should stand, or fall, on its own two feet instead of the current situation of mixing in (women's players in the men's calendar) and passing off: "Bristol City" beat "Arsenal".

Are Bristol City Cerebral Palsy FC, Bristol City Deaf FC, Bristol City Down Syndrome FC and Bristol City Frame FC (who all featured in some form on Saturday) also "leeching"?

But do allow people to watch Bristol City from home...

Not sure how that will suit someone who says they won't watch Robins TV due to the delay causing them to get iPhone notifications before seeing the goals on screen since the delay on any dubious feed is likely to be longer.
