To answer those who asked: yes, Liam Manning was there in the directors box - as was Chris Hogg, Pat Mountain, Jon Lansdown and Marina Dolman amongst others.

Tuned in but tuned out when they immediately started playing sound bites from Saturdays shocking display.
I don’t need to relive that again was my thought. Regardless of how much disection there is it never changes the result.
Not sure what you expect on a football talk show? Debate on whether Liam Manning puts his cereal or milk in the bowl first?

Yes agree.
Does anyone know WHY we are one of only two teams playing on the Sunday?
Police request was the reason given last summer.

I'm guessing that Rovers v Derby County (and a likely full away following) played some part in that.

Apparently Manning said about not having a kid filling the empty spots on the bench ,
“The academy have got a big week with the Youth Cup and it’s that balance,” Manning said. “We’ve taken the lads and had them train with us this week but in terms of momentum doing things like that, by taking them and knowing you possibly might not use them, what’s actually best for them? That was a decision that we made.”
Surely that's the case for any Sub , I know he does do some Subs by numbers ( 60mins Sub time ) but you can't say for definite what will happen in any game. As the U18s don't play until Thursday , would it really disrupt their week that much?
I know it makes little difference either way but if the youth players can't be included because of their own schedules or they're just not good enough, why not at least put Lewis Thomas on the bench?
Yes, the chance of needing a third keeper in a game in infinitely low but to choose to limit yourselves when you have an empty seat and he's there and taking part in the warmup seems peculiar.

Feels like he’s sucking the character out of the team at this point in time.
Dogs resemble their owners.
Football teams resemble their manager/coach. Our team has about as much character/identity as a blank piece of paper right now.

June 23rd: the day after BS3 Live is scheduled... I guess if they can re-use the same stage set-up it brings some economies. But if KoL are the kind of act that want/need their own stage configuration...

Neil Harris would complete the treble of having managed in League Two, League One and the Championship in the same season.
Wonder if he can get a late move to the Premier League in a month or so...

I guessed as much, but poor again from the OS to get the date wrong.
Hope the time is right at least. It looks promising for you on that - the Swindon site agrees with the 7pm kick-off time.

Does the P&R run for home matches? My daughter wants to go to the Spurs game.
It seems to vary by game (and presumably expected attendance) is the simple answer.
Normally appears on the club website a couple of days before the game but maybe Jerry could answer in advance (I'd suggest Twitter/X).

Would be interesting to see what happened if anyone with evidence of losses incurred complained (including to the Independent Football Ombudsman if necessary).
Tickets were clearly sold under false pretences.

So unless I’m misreading it the club basically lied with its initial communications to place the blame on the police rather than not bothering to tell anyone until less than 3 weeks before the game
Can we therefore assume waiting for tv games are announced was an attempt to shift the blame onto sky?
Looks that way. It was just utterly dishonest to ever pretend it was a 3pm kick-off.
Everyone but the fans knew that it wouldn't be a 3pm kick-off when tickets went on sale in January (as per https://www.bcfc.co.uk/news/march-home-fixtures-set-for-priority-sale/). It's just plain dishonest and deceitful.

Bristol City has apologised to its fans, and fans of Cardiff City for changing the time of the kick-off of the upcoming Severnside Derby - and admitted it should have told fans earlier.
...
QuoteBristol Live understands the match being moved to an earlier kick-off time is the result of a request of the police, but that request was made last summer, soon after the fixture list was first published. The switch wasn't made then, because the clubs involved wanted to wait to see if it was picked by Sky Sports to be a televised game, which could have necessitated another change itself with the game potentially being moved to the Friday evening, Saturday evening or Sunday afternoon.
...
QuoteA Bristol City spokesperson said: “We apologise to Bristol City and Cardiff City fans for the shorter than usual notice of the kick-off time change for the fixture on March 2. Ourselves, Cardiff City and the EFL decided to wait until the broadcast selections for March before confirming the kick-off time change to 12.30pm in case this game was selected for broadcast and the scheduled matchday and/or kick-off time had to be changed.
“The broadcast selections were announced on February 2 and this game was not selected for broadcast. However, we recognise that the change to a 12.30pm kick-off for safety reasons should have been communicated to supporters earlier. We will continue to look at improving communication to fans and hope they are not too inconvenienced by this kick-off change," he added.

A site that lists "Sam Bellis" as our player and lists Scott Twine, Alex Scott and Tomas Kalas together in the same squad isn't especially impressive.
It also says: "A.Scott signed an annual average salary of €20,000,000 contract with the Bristol City. A.Scott earned £280,655 per week in Bristol City." Really? Who's falling for that?

Any idea who the foreign female interviewer was at the end of the match with Bell and James? She sounded Italian. Don’t think I’ve seen her on any EFL games before.
