Yep, both are from Guernsey so would probably know each other from there.
They more than know each other - Maya is Alex's step sister as per the Bournemouth Echo
QuoteMatt Le Tissier will take some dislodging as Guernsey’s most famous footballing export, but Scott already has a battle on his hands to claim the title of the Channel Island’s current best player.
That’s because his stepsister is England international and Manchester United star Maya Le Tissier, the pair having grown up playing together for Guernsey-based St Martin’s.
Whilst some reports name Maya Le Tissier (no relation to Matt) as Scott’s half-sister, the 20-year-old clarified that they were in fact siblings via marriage.
“That's my stepsister,” he restarted.
“My dad's with her mum, so she's my stepsister.
“We grew up, I don't know what age that would have been when they were together, but we've grown up playing for the same team all our lives.

Sorry if this has been mentioned elsewhere, but is this available online to watch tomorrow?
Should be. Liam's notes for yesterday's game said:
"I am looking forward to meeting many of you at the Fans Forum on Monday and giving you more of an insight. It’s already sold out but it will be streamed on various club channels so please do tune in from 7pm."

I see, all clear now.
So who owns Pula Sport Limited, then?
Ultimately Steve and Maggie Lansdown. The chain gets a little more unclear at that level because of the different requirements for Guernsey companies.

Who does then
Ashton Gate Limited.
Ashton Gate Limited is 100% owned by Bristol City Holdings Limited.
Bristol City Holdings Limited is majority owned (approximately 98.7% at the last confirmation statement) by Pula Sport Limited.

Why
Perhaps because it's based on an outright lie. A mistruth. An invention. A fib. A falsity.
Bristol Sport does not own Ashton Gate.

10k would be some going since they were boasting a "a record number of season ticket" with a mind-blowing 5360 back in January.

Does anyone know what the backdrop is in these videos? I am baffled….looks a bit like the old enclosure but I don’t think it is.
Looks like it's the same as the pic in the Lansdown Stand concourse.

Sam Bell doesn't start for anyone keen to follow the game.

Not sure what the Germans are using to cover this game but the coverage resembles something of a smudged oil painting.

Have they actually confirmed who will be attending ?
Sorry if this has been mentioned, can't be arsed to look through the thread.
I'm guessing Manning and Hogg , I hope they gets an easy-ish ride this time. Hasn't got anything to do with dumping Pearson and hasn't had chance to do much with the team.
Tins ? could be interesting.
Possibly our new COO ?
I'd be amazed if any Lansdown is there, though the only one of these sort of things I went to was populated by a very "happy Clapper" type crowd .
Yes it's been announced.
Chairman Jon Lansdown, Sporting Group CEO Gavin Marshall, Head Coach Liam Manning and Technical Director Brian Tinnion.

That money goes straight to Bristol Sport not the football club, so however small it would be, it would have zero benefit to the ‘football operation’
No, it doesn't.

I'm getting a sold out message when i try to get tickets.
Cant believe its full already.
Why can't you believe it? It's not the biggest of venues (maybe 150 seats or so I'd guess?) so seems more than possible those tickets could go relatively quickly.

"The South Stand will modernise the stadium, and with your help continue to add to that infamous atmosphere that the Memorial Stadium is known for."
Well I guess the honesty is to be admired...

The women do in the cup games. It's the post code of the training ground, sorry, HPC.
The HPC is in BS8.
BS7 covers Rovers and Glos CCC.

His brother Cole played for Wales at a few age groups so no huge surprise really. Guess he's given up waiting for the Brazil call-up though.

So do you think he was taken to one side as he left the training pitch today and was told he was being sacked?
Or is it possible he was told on Saturday that a new head coach was coming in and his contract would be terminated on Monday as things stood?
It's obviously possible he was informed on Saturday but some people made it sound like he was taken out to the bins and shot dead by Jon Lansdown with a pistol at close range.
-
So it was CF who took training today according to the club which seems like some comeback from his extermination on Saturday evening according to some.

So while City women pulled off a great away victory at West Ham in the Women's premier league, it was also a fantastic performance by Rover's women in their 3-2 victory against "Marine Academy Plymouth????"
Are their women's team about Step 9 of Women's football or something?
They're in the South West Regional Women's Football League Premier Division so it's the 5th level of the pyramid.

Yep, see the 'a few things to clear up' section... https://www.bristolpost.co.uk/sport/football/bristol-city-next-manager-live-8885495
That reads weirdly to me...
"There's been contact between City and Oxford re: Liam Manning as of first thing this morning. He is or at least has been, as we reported last week, among those who have been considered."
would feel to read more naturally if it said...
"There's been no contact between City and Oxford re: Liam Manning as of first thing this morning. He is or at least has been, as we reported last week, among those who have been considered."

Could you make that sound more like a bot posting if you tried?

An independent Regulatory Commission has found a misconduct charge against Gillingham’s interim head coach not proven following a hearing.
It was alleged that Keith Millen’s behaviour during the 28th minute of their EFL League Two game against Walsall on Saturday 14 October was improper.
