  1. Not worried merely observing. There is some very good research on sporting kit colours both from a psychological and vision perspective. There’s always been a suggestion in the NFL that players in white shirts seem bigger. There’s more science in it that just a few quid in the club shop, although arguably our shirt determination is how cheaply in can be provided.
  2. I am old-ish. Lived more years than I’ve got left.
  3. I recall a Man U away shirt that was changed at half time in a game because the players couldn’t see one another with the crowd backdrop. I can only comment on the TV pictures I’m watching, but from a tv perspective the away shirts do not stand out that well. Is that going to be the same for a player who is getting a momentary head up? Dreadful away kit
  4. At least you know he’s going to be consistently shit
  5. Both teams in green of some sort. Plus our passing suggests the players can’t see one another clearly. And this yellow kit is utter shite
  6. Our opening effort is as insipid as our clashing away kit.
  7. £2 million and a young lad called Scott in part exchange, just made a few prem appearances.
  8. Ref’s a joke. Has been all game. Really don’t need a Leicester player falling theatrically in the box in injury time
  9. Not sure that Chris Honor is a club employee other than the occasional appearance fee so I imagine he’s got scope to post his own opinion and I think he’s usually very balanced. Likewise Richard Latham might not be so close to today’s club as such, but his experience of being a local football journalist who reported on City for years and knows the Lansdown’s should not be dismissed as it could be a good indication on the thoughts of the inner sanctum. To my mind it was an interesting episode with some good points made. Clearly not for you as I suspect you’d have only enjoyed it if there it was 50 minute echo session for your current perspective. Sometimes it’s good to have your own views questioned or at least another opinion put in front of you.
  10. Scored lots of useful goals for Luton, all forwards need a run of games to get going, you’ll never see his more attacking qualities when he gets the standard 10-15 mins usually when the game is ****** and Manningball turns into Lumpball. Good squad player but does not fit into whatever system Manning is trying to manifest.
  11. That chant just makes a very good point to the board and very apt given the Leicester connection. Plus it's natural to compare a very good experienced manager to what appears to be a coaching fraud…
  12. Gets the point across to those in the directors seats…. If the team delivers then fans will get behind them, if they come up with the drivel that identifies itself as “front foot football” then the fans will also make that point too, not only to them but to the head coach.
  13. Dont feel stupid about posting something, nothing wrong with an opinion. I don’t doubt for one minute that the current management team are trying hard and clearly Manning’s own ethos is to work hard to try to turn his own fortunes around but sometimes hard work is not enough almost to the point of futility, whatever he’s trying to do is not working. The cohesiveness and fight that team had under the previous manager has gone, players have regressed, game management is non existent, the ability of change tack is missing (although this was one of my criticisms of NP, he was always about 10-15 mins too late to make changes), and I’d previously thought I’d seen some improvement in our play and had previously defended LM in the start of his City career. It’s really difficult to identify any positive now under this regime, and certainly nothing where you’d have thought the he deserves or has earned more time, he’s had his chance and been found wanting. Time to go.
  14. I think the attendances at the next few home games will be telling, clearly there were many seats empty in the South Stand last week which was put down kids cheap season tickets, an early KO and Mother’s Day. If those seats remain empty say for the Leicester game then you’ve got to question the general apathy which can’t be good when the club has just started flogging next year’s tickets. A stuffing in that game could make the atmosphere interesting.
  15. I don't think that most sensible supporters have ever had high expectations, we've come close to the line once or twice, and I don't think its unreasonable for a club of our size and backing to be looking at a little play-off dalliance from time to time. I appreciate that I'm generalising but if the football was entertaining and the fans felt that we'd given the opposition a game, then the attitude and atmosphere would be very different. Our away support is generally very good and get behind the team, but if they are signing "we're f.....g shit" during the game then that tells you all you need to know. Aside from one or two games this output of this Manning-led team has been dull, pondering, and from an attacking perspective toothless, there is very little entertainment and we've hardly imposed our game on anyone, at times WBA were treating this afternoon as a training game. It's like any flair or impulsive attacking thought has been coached out of them. Sometimes you've got to show some humility and put your hands up to say you got it wrong and make a change, now is the time for the club's hierarchy to put Manning out of his misery. He may well be a good academy coach, but this is not working for him, and if he is to be successful somewhere then perhaps being out of City now and taking some time out would be better for him in the long run.
  16. Dead man walking speak, I guess he’s starting to feel the pressure. A tonking at home to Leicester will not be what he needs.
  17. The podcast he’s on might as well be produced by them..
  18. How dare you smite the beautiful Greek language comparing it to the super coach bilge that comes out of Manning’s. I’d like to think that Greek has more words than Behaviours, Hoggy and Twiney.
  19. Baggies TV so playing to the home crowd with a bit of gas excitement about city getting beat. Very irritating but hardly unexpected, you get what you get with a dodgy stream.
  20. Unless something dramatically changes then we’ve got to be a reasonable priced favourite for relegation next season
  21. I very much enjoyed the Greek commentary on the other feed….the only good thing coming out of that game is the commentary made me choose this summer’s holiday destination
  22. Yes there can. It’s a results game. ******* hopeless again.
  23. Our preseason is going to be full of miracles. Is Billy Graham coming back to Ashton Gate?
