  1. Thank you for posting this, I forgotten about Reg Prescott. Funny as….. Kenny Everett was an underrated genius.
  2. It was noticeable that we upped our tempo in the last 10 mins yesterday and that brought about a bit more pressure and our offside goal. We do seem to be a better team if and when we play at a pace. Are elements of the way he wants his teams to play is that we mix that up a bit by keeping the ball at the back to drag teams forward and to lose their shape and then to “pounce” with pace? If that’s the case then the players are at fault and or are not capable of playing the way he wants them to, as evidently we are not doing that, there are no clever through-balls nor does anybody we put wide, apart from perhaps Pring and to lesser extent McCrorie, try to take their player on and get behind them. Arguably Cornick’s goal against Southampton and Conway’s at the London Stadium might be the best example of what Mannings style could achieve. My anger and frustration into where we are right now with the performances of late, the inability to adapt during games, and the evident removal of the unity that Pearson had instilled in this group of players (demonstrated by the finger point and arguing on the pitch yesterday) wants Manning unceremoniously kicked out of the door. My Sunday morning pragmatic head says what if there is merit to the style he wants to play should he be given the time, the players he needs to implement that, and be given budget that we apparently didn’t have when Scott was sold. The pragmatic me is not sure that sacking him now would have the desired effect, the toughest games we have remaining are bar Swansea the next 4 or 5, the club would struggle to get anyone else in of quality and they in turn would struggle to impose their style in that time frame which ultimately suggests we’d could have the same series of results, therefore why change now? Let the season meander out, Manning has a summer window, a preseason and 10-12 games next year to demonstrate he’s got the ability to get a team that is moderately successful in his mould, if not then change and we start all over again….
  3. Just listened to his post match. Players fault again, not brave enough. Where LJ used to measure the height of the grass pre game, Manning measures the gap under the bus to ensure that the players will fit when he chucks them under it.
  4. Think you should have a go at 6pm tonight rather than have night to think about it.
  5. One of the few times I 100% agree with you…
  6. At least they knew what they were doing to a man, we might of got beat by Cardiff at their place, but he had a banged up team putting in some sort of performance. This was just insipid back passing shit
  7. And so you should. I don’t know you but I will be immediately wetting the baby’s head with Gold, as I’ve wet the bed already. Congratulations my man…
  8. A fool and his money and all that. I strongly encouraged my son to put £50 on Cardiff to win at 16:5 last night, easy money.
  9. Manning, take your cones, behaviours, patterns, HPC pitch arrows, plastic Pep coaching handbook, Scott Twine and Mehmeti then get the **** out of this club. You truly are the most hopeless ***** of a manager. Hopelessly out of your depth.
  10. Playing better with pace, why has it taken 88 mins to work that out. So ******* angry about this clueless ***** of a head coach
  11. See the 5 year old in front of you that’s running around cluelessly fuelled up on Haribo, a bit like that without the running around…
  12. I don’t think he’s capable of making a substitution that will tactically alter the game. Clueless
  13. We’ve only got 6 mins to the 60 min triple substitution..
  14. At least he’s consistently inept for both teams…
  15. Why are you stopping play for that ref??? He’s sitting on his arse not holding his head.
  16. I do remember one pre-Atyeo stand game, where the Cardiff fans were having a ding dong with Avon and Somersets finest, chucking police helmets over the fence to cheers from the Dolman, and I think (it might have been the same game) Cardiff tried to get through a gate to get to the Dolman, one of their number got through and charged thinking all his mates were behind him, not realising that the stewards had managed to get to the gate and close it, leaving him by himself. Needless to say the City fans who had made their way down the Dolman steps were pleased to welcome the solitary Cardiff fan, saved only by some poor steward that dived in to pull him out and dumped him back in the open end. Funny and unlikely to be replicated again.
  17. Have you watched Mehmeti at all this season, might as well play with 10.
  18. Wouldn’t totally call it a turgid affair, but it really is rather dull. I’m getting more entertainment picking my nose on the sofa.
  19. I think I like McCrorie’s physicality, he does look up for a fight at corners. I bet he’s a right menace outside the kebab shop at 2am on a Sun morning. I wouldn’t be caught looking at his pint, kebab or bird…
