  1. In previous seasons have been saying our defence seems weak because of the even weaker midfield in front of them. Not surprising Zac made mistakes..running all over the place, pulled out of position, changing players alongside him all the time. Throughout the team we seem to have moved forward in terms of organisation and the units doing their jibs more thoroughly...hence Zac is able to settle into developing the role he's obviously very good at.

"The club would like to thank the EFL and Norwich City for accommodating our request for the tie to be played a week later than all other first round matches. This request was made in order to provide additional time for our pitch to settle following extensive works during the close season."

    Thank you

Yep club need to address this , we need quality food / drink and service because we’re paying for it and queueing twice for a pie and a pint is not on as there is not time

Tried the award winning Buxton pies...shocking, wafer thin, little content...please let's have,Chunks back!!

  4. Lucky those who missed out on the pies...shallowness steak pies I've ever picked up...and very dry in the middle...why oh why when we had Chunks pies a few years ago has that changed...Happy to pay what they ask but need some quality!!

New Greek theme food..very expensive n not wraps..stuffed into very thick bread thing making content less and poor value.

Then into Sports bar..n no seats...more staff saving rather than fan comfort..needed for early arrivals...of old creaky men!!

Gripes over..other than topped by awful football.

  5. I'm sure this has been answered elsewhere in the 14 pages but....have downloaded android to Google wllate. It shows details of the Preston game...but no QR or barcode. Have I not downloaded corec5ly, missed a step or need to await codes nearer the time. ?

Good to know, thanks - and pretty much plays to what we thought the scenario was. Kalas is predisposed to stay unless he gets something great elsewhere and NP clearly wants him to stay.

I’ve said on another thread that the interesting thing for me is what all this means for Vyner. Assuming we’re still in for O’Brien, it would give us CB options of Vyner, Dickie, McCrorie, Kalas, O’Brien, Atkinson (when fit) plus Pring and any U21. Vyner has one year left on a deal and we don’t appear close to agreement. We also know that prior to last season, he was on the way out. I also stand by that we shouldn’t offer Zak a deal that is in excess of what Nige sees as his value to the team over the next, say, 3 years

It wouldn’t shock me at all to see TK signing, us completing the O’Brien deal and then Vyner departing. It’d mean we cash in before he’s a free agent and off the back of a good season that we don’t know at this point if it was reflective of standard moving forward or just temporary good form, so probably get the most £.

Vyner was excellent throughout the season which does not suggest temporary. Personally would keep Vyner ...and if we are capable of getting good money for him then that suggests we should retain him longer term!

They had injuries to key players like Saliba and didn't have the squad depth to deal with them. You don't win the league starting players like Rob Holding, especially when Man City are chasing you.

Will be interesting to see what they get up to in the summer and if they're able to challenge again. I don't get the annoyance with Arsenal some people have, they play good football and are building a squad the right way - developing young players. I'd much rather see them win the league over Man City or Liverpool.

Copied the Bristol City model then!

  8. ...found and handed my keys in to club.

Also greatly impressed by the club...rang the shop (as that where lost property is dealt with I understand)....and within 2 minutes they had located the keys and, Scott Murray, does he do this as well?? had agreed to post them to me...arriving within 24 hrs.

Thanks once again the person handing them in and the club for having such an efficient system.
