At his best, definitely. At his worst, definitely not.
At least he did have 'best' moments...many more than those we have at the moment put together.

Didn’t replace Diedhiou.
Strange...always,argued with mate about the merits of Diedhiou...he couldn't stand him...yet now saying how desperate we are for someone like him...stopped goals against when defending and often drew 2 or 3 players around him...yes control crazy at times but also very good at others... Power pace n height.. Certainly confused the opposition to great effect at times...

Beating the great Leeds side in the FA Cup at Elland Road when they had gone 27ish games unbeaten. Donnie Gilles scored and then followed the longest 20 minutes of survival watching City that I have ever experienced.
..and the journey home was fantastic as it made big headlines on all the national news programmes including R4 or whatever it was then..goodness knows how many times we heard it!!

It's a two horse race. There is always a chance. Anyone who says otherwise hasn't been watching football for very long, or chooses to ignore the countless examples of underdogs winning.
Thats the trouble -- we are being seen as the underdogs. Says it all!!

Be good for a couple of the others to chip in now - show we are not a one man team!

AM I THE ONLY ONE GETTING TOTALLY P... OFF BY SEEING BANAL CHAT ON ROVERS TOP OF OUR PAGE FOR MONTHS ON END. ABOUT TIME WE IGNORED ALTOGETHER N CONCENTRATED ON A FOOTBALL TEAM!

We're on a great run now. Would love for us to maintain this momentum and have a strong finish to the season.
Finishing strongly could be priceless when it comes to summer recruitment.
...and filling the ground!

Let us not criticise MK -- our defence has become really solid... suddenly playing like a unit throughout the team.
-
Can we now have a two day limit for further comment on Rovers and get back to focussing on our own club and what real football is all about. Silence about Rovers could be as deafening as the million comments made over the past 14 months!
-
No way have we ever gone though a season with so few changes -- and I doubt many other clubs have achieved this either. No injuries no changes. Another angle amongst many on why this season has been so unique.

Hard to believe when we went there, if we lost they went top.
Two things have happened at the same time, we have gone on a good run, Swindon and MK a really bad one, and suddenly...
Couldn't stand the relentless pressure!

Hopefully they are all pumped up for it - or we are in for a long afternoon!

really does it though,
they all know what there roles are in the team they will be aware of oposition
dont think mangers need to say much footballers are generally quite thick
Surprised about this remark as I think one of the bigger differences in this team is that they are all able to express themselves pretty well and are a cut above what we have been used to -- and is one of the reasons why they are able to accept the whole teams needs rather than just their own.

City players that have scored at least one goal this season
Williams
Flint
Little
Ayling
Cunningham
Bryan
Freeman
Elliot
Smith
Pack
Wagstaff
Burns
Agard
Wilbs
Jet
Everyone is contributing!
That really is a remarkable record and doubt it has happened before so early in the season -- new scorer every game almost. Better start playing those who haven't scored to date!!
-
Our best player has to play. Very simple. Pack and Smith play in the same position. I also think Pack's performance on Tuesday has been slightly overrated on here
Feel we have been riding our luck somewhat over the past few games -- and that may be a reason not to change things but for me we need to be a lot more in control defending the midfield and hence hopefully reduce the risk of the inevitable goals we have been conceding.

Karleigh osbourne.. Absolute rock, won everything that came his way second half
We have the best back three for a long long time!!
-
...sorry -- 14.07!

Is team news at 15.07?

New one on me -- FC Admira Wacker Modling -- great name, sadly losing to FC Vienna at home!
