  1. Makes sense compared to the impromptu one last year during the second half
  2. Wilson is clearly a very talented player, but he's only 22 and has barely played half a season above league 2 level and never in the championship. His time will come, I trust Pearson and co to introduce him to the championship in the best way for him. I'm sure it's frustrating but hopefully he understands why.
  3. That's ridiculous. It's like saying because the city highlights are digitally captured they're not real video. The information that produces them is still real, it's just processed. They're not even slightly comparable to purely AI generated images. You clearly have no idea what you're talking about when it comes to either space imagery or AI. They're pretty amazing - there are some you can try out yourself! Have a go with a cut down version here: https://www.craiyon.com/ There's some skill in writing the prompts. You can put things like "realistic" or an artist name as well - anything you can think of really. Here's "Ashton gate in the style of Salvador Dali"
  4. Wrap it up guys, pretty much all film, art, literature, and more is apparently pointless! Given the image resolution 640x640 I'd guess at "Stable Diffusion" rather than the much better known DALL-E, as I think it only generates square images around that size, but that is just a guess!
  5. What would you have done instead out of interest? He took off Conway who is pretty new to the division and played almost all of the game a few days ago. That makes sense to me.
  6. That's very kind mate - glad to help out people who might not be able to catch the game for whatever reason. If anyone feels that way inclined I'd much prefer a small amount to go to somewhere like CHSW (https://www.chsw.org.uk/get-involved/ways-donate/make-donation)
  7. Brilliant break, great work by Conway! Fantastic start.
  8. Instead feel pleased that he won't be the last!
  9. My guess is they mean as part of what I think is the semi-organised march bit, rather than someone just attending? Just poorly worded I think.
  10. I agree - and it's not just the straight up money. These players all need training time and resources spent on them, physios, etc. which is harder to quantify but will have a reasonable impact.
  11. Oh nice, so are they through to play half a game in the next round then or..?
  12. Easy to say they played a weak side, it's only the cup or whatever - but if we'd have put in another drab performance or lost it'd be used as ammo against the club. You can't have it both ways. Enjoy the win and roll on Saturday.
  13. Brilliant, well done City. Sounded really convincing against a decent side.
  14. My assumption for the logic from the subs (and I'm generally not a fan of simply piling on strikers either) was that Sunderland were pressing us higher up the pitch, so in response we wanted to skip the middle third and play longer to the strikers, rather than try and contest a lost battle in the middle. It seemed like Scott then started coming really deep - which isn't really where you want him, unless he's trying to play longer or through balls maybe? I don't know if it was a good plan, or if that even was the plan, but that's all I could think of. On the graphics above, I like the one showing we're controlling higher up on each side, but the very noticeable red area just inside of half. That certainly reflects what I've seen, and is definitely one of the areas we completely lost control of on Saturday.
  15. Scurrying out the door pissing about with his shirt sleeve while the other customers wonder why he spent the entire time sat there sweating in complete silence more like
  16. Brilliant, well that's reassured me no end. Would love to see the doom-sayers response? Hint - it's insight like that which makes Nige a top tier manager, and not you.
  17. No idea how this'll go down, but at this point I'd be in favour of a minute or two's applause and images on the big screens before a single game each season to remember everyone who's died that year. It might just be me, but once we get to multiple minutes applause per game - and most of them usually result in everyone around me going "what's this all about then?" it seems to lose any impact. It's obviously still important to the families/ friends so I'm really trying not to come across as dismissive or anything, that's definitely not what I mean! I just think the above would end up having much more impact and be easier to manage.
  18. So it's the 5m wide gap between the Dolman and Atyeo that's the problem?
  19. I'm confused by your list. Why for example are Hull on there? Just because of that little bit in the corner, next to the away fans are behind the goal? Is that so different to what our fans have?
