Up the Shire! It would be typical to get to a first finals day in 13 years when no one can go and enjoy it.

6 wins in a row in the T/20 Blast for Glos, just watched the live stream of them thumping the Birmingham Bears yet again!

Never realised there was a Bears thread on OTIB, quality.

Worked delivering all through lockdown, 6 months without my Football fix, I’d be there like a shot if I could.

The Bears training kit, on the whole is vile, I noticed on Twitter Kyle Sinckler wearing a t shirt that looked good, alas, I can’t see it for sale on the Bristol Sport Store. I like what Hummel have done for us so far, a bit disappointed that it’s quite so costly though.

FFS they’ve not averaged over 10k at home in a season since before electricity was invented.
Deluded horse punching, bus headbutting, tit cricketing, racist, otter feltching, hoofwanking bunglec***s
For some very weird reason, it was the “otter feltching” part of this post that really made me laugh!

This generation don’t know who they are...
We’ve played them competitively 3 times in 18 years! I’m nearly 39 and grew up despising them because we were playing them regularly. Most people 30 and under just don’t have the same hatred towards them that those of us who are that bit older do!

Elton road? There was a net JP.
Just remember there being a big bet thing up behind the posts at one end, before they put the tent stand up there in the late 90’s.

Pretty sure there always was a net up there when Rugby was played there.

Bristol Party wasn’t it?
As as child I vaguely remember seeing a bunch of mutants in donkey jackets stood across the road from John Lewis in town, shouting and screaming about something from behind their banner.
Even now, if I close my eyes and really concentrate I can almost smell their B.O. wafting across the street.
I asked my mum who they were and she said “no one that matters”.I remember seeing about that on the local news, I think Colin Howlett who covered the Sags on Radio Bristol back in the day was the figurehead.

That’ll be handy for Gasheads to get their favourite Slazenger gear without having to catch the bus up to Cribbs.
Bit of Pierre Cardin for away matches when they want to show off their best clobber.
Come on be fair, I’m sure they’re split 50/50 between Slazenger and Lonsdale.

Quaffing an agreeable Chilean Merlot and wondering how the countdown to The Fruit Market Stadium’s completion is going?! As Wael the messiah pronounced a while back, it will be ready in two years, so what’s that now? 18 months until the gas first play there? I’ve probably got that incorrect so please feel free to update the timeline - anyone seen a JCB on site yet? Because the billionaire Wael would never mislead the blue few would he?!
I’ve heard he’s got a problem getting the tenants at The Fruit Market to accept payment in a particular currency, apparently they’re not keen to be paid in Monopoly money.

If Lyle Taylor comes here, it's our fault for Charlton signing JCH.
It’ll be that nasty Lady Garden SL’s fault, he’s scared of them getting into the Championship don’t you know?

I know @BS15_RED and it's absolute bollox. I can categorically state he wouldn't attend the swamp unless Bristols' premier team were playing there.
Made me smile though JP. Hope you're well mate.

Thanks, BS15, but I'm only telling the truth.
I’m not denying it, and like BCFC, I’ve very strong South Bristol roots, but remember Bristol South End ceased to exist over 100 years ago. Remember, we’re Bristol City.
-
Just out of interest fellas, as impressive as our attendances are now, do you not think they’d take a big drop if us people who come from north of the river, and indeed outside of the city altogether, didn’t attend?

How utterly satisfying to pip B**h at the post. All eyes on the outcome of Sale’s COVID tests on Tuesday. Whoever we play in the semis, our boys can just go out and play their Rugby, and hopefully get to the final. C’mon Bris!
