Never realised there was a Bears thread on OTIB, quality.

Worked delivering all through lockdown, 6 months without my Football fix, I’d be there like a shot if I could.

The Bears training kit, on the whole is vile, I noticed on Twitter Kyle Sinckler wearing a t shirt that looked good, alas, I can’t see it for sale on the Bristol Sport Store. I like what Hummel have done for us so far, a bit disappointed that it’s quite so costly though.

We’ve played them competitively 3 times in 18 years! I’m nearly 39 and grew up despising them because we were playing them regularly.  Most people 30 and under just don’t have the same hatred towards them that those of us who are that bit older do!

As as child I vaguely remember seeing a bunch of mutants in donkey jackets stood across the road from John Lewis in town, shouting and screaming about something from behind their banner.

Even now, if I close my eyes and really concentrate I can almost smell their B.O. wafting across the street.
I asked my mum who they were and she said “no one that matters”.

I remember seeing about that on the local news, I think Colin Howlett who covered the Sags on Radio Bristol back in the day was the figurehead.
