Posted September 14, 2008 Report Share Posted September 14, 2008 The pressure of the rediculous price tag hanging over his head, our desperation for a 20-goal-a-season striker who'll also fit in in Monk Johnson's Bhuddist Temple the dressing room (which don't come two-a-penny) along with the inevitable settling in period is enough to keep my judgement at bay. The lad cracked the bar from 20 yards yesterday and you could see the angst etched all over his face after the one on one, wouldn't be surprised if once the weight of these strenuous circumstances ease he'll find his feet and never look back, strikers are 'confidence players' and he's a young'n. No i don`t actually Bit confused by your response there, as i clearly didn`t mean anything of the sort in my opening post. I`m just saying basically it`s too early to judge him. He`s not played many games for us. I think as the weeks and months go by, he`ll become more prolific and more consistent for us. He`s only 21 and needs a lot more time to adjust to the league.
