I'm not suggesting that Weale needs to be in net al season to make up for mistakes. I'm suggesting that Basso is head and shoulders the best keeper we have... Basso needs to play the whole season (when fit) because he has proven that he is the best keeper. He has proven this by contributing about 15 points per season. He has shown consistency both last season and the one before. Weale has had his chance to prove he is better than Basso, and he hasnt taken it this time...so he is obviously the deputy to the superior Basso. Do you not see the logic? You were right to be worried, gave Jarvis way to much room, definetly out of his depth today. Kightly apparently 'milked the abuse from the City fans'...... you'd think he'd want to celebrate with his own fans instead of winding up ours. Very surprised he didn't get a booking for that, then again he could have pulled out a machine gun and fired it into the crowd and the ref would of turned a blind eye.
