Admin Ian M Posted September 1, 2009 Admin Report Share Posted September 1, 2009 I hadn't really read the Wiki piece about his career thus far so was surprised to see he finished joint top scorer at the 2005 World Club Cup (...the one Liverpool lost to Sao Paolo in the final). Funnily enough in doing this he outscored a certain Emad Meteb

Crackers Corner
Fans on the FC Sion forum seem a bit split on him. Some say they wish us a lot of patience! Others glad that he's a got a good move. But the most interesting fact is that he seemed to be on his way to Bolton earlier today! Anyone with a better command of Swiss-French football slang than me is welcome to have a look at the following http://www.fc-sion-live.ch/forum_smf/smf/i...pic,988.15.html http://translate.google.co.uk/translate?hl...c%2C988.15.html try that link, they dont have too much to say really apart from thinking its bolton who got him. edit, they call him a goat for some reason? edson
Gary Johnson at 5ft 6in...Saborio looks taller than 6ft They're standing at the side of the pitch, which slopes away. Gary is downhill from Saborio. And a lot shorter, of course.

Actually so did I !! ... Costa Rica is currently 7 hours behind UK time. as Homer Red alluded to. They must be on one of their obscure time slots when they are 2 hours behind Havana; usually its just 1 hour. if their match kicks off at 1900 then it will be 0200 here. havanatopia
Good point. Is he deemed not good enough by FC Sion? Or did he request a move to England? I read somewhere that they were slow paying him on more than one occasion and so we came at a time when they needed to improve their cash flow. We had also been tracking him for 18 months says GJ on the web site.
