Swansea_Red
Carey dropped? And Carey dropped for McCombe. WTF!! Rested apparently. And if you're going to rest your skipper and arguably best player I guess there's no better game to do it in than when you're playing a struggling team at home. bucksred
sheeeeeeeeeeeeet McCombe starting noooooooooooooo! at least LJ is benched, givin Hartley a chance! get in. Haynes in midfield? Is GJ Arsene Wenger in disguise??
nebristolred
Everyone getting jumpy. Sounds more like a 4-3-3 to me than a 4-4-2, Sno is not on the left wing. Sounds like Haynes, Saborio and Maynard up front with Skuse, Sno and Hartley in central midfield.

fenric
Soborio off for Carey? Are we now just gonna settle for 0-0??? Seriously, GJ did say before the match that he wouldn't be afraid to sub anyone not doing the job even if it is 10 mins into the game. So is it back to 4-4-2? 3-5-2? 8-1-1??? bucksred
We should be battering Muff, at home........ tezOfCity
my guess saborio lookin tired after too many mayches int. duty etc. probs influenced GJ decision, anyone know how he reacted to comming off so early? or how clarksons body language has been at being overlooked again despite scoring (to my knowledge) 5 goals in his last 2 reserve games? Swansea_Red
dodgey defence i.m.h.o 2 shots on target first 5min from plym Derkin saves one with legs :noexpression: I don't know, some people seem to think McCombe is League 1 standard and it looks like Plymouth are heading that way so it sort of equates..... Didn't sound like 4-3-3 (and it was a 4-3-3) was working, fair play to GJ for making a Mourinho (hopefully) esq substitution! Seem to be creating a bit more anyway. Offers a bit more width with McAllister and Orr playing wide.
bucksred
be a defender or be short..............
Tunley Legend
yep. 3-5-2. 4-3-3 obviously wasn't working - not a sniff at goal. The Red Arrows change formation less often than we do.
