1. Jermain Defoe. 2. If you kick it into your own goal - it's a corner. 3. The oldest ground in continuous use.

1980: ???

1981: Villa

2) How many clubs in the football league start and end with the same letter (and name them ??)

3) Who played the last 15 minutes of an F.A. Cup at Wembley with a broken neck?

Some political ones as thats topical at the moment.

1. Name the three main party leaders for the 2005 election

2. who was the leader of the Labour party before Blair was elected?

3. Name the 3 chancellors who worked under Thatcher

Dont google them obviously or it makes it a bit easy.

Brooking is the answer, isn't it the scorer of the winning goal in the Charity Shield?

Here's another one:

Who is the only player to win the champions league, the UEFA Cup, the FA cup, the Olympics, premier league. They have also been relegated from the premier league twice but have never played in the Championship?

2. I'm sure it's John Smith, unless that question is a curved ball?!

close but wrong again...come on you can do it !!!

Thanks Coppello for bailing me out of my misery with the right answer. It was Brooking because a lot was made of him scoring with a header, rather unusual for him. Might have been froma Paul Allen cross though!!

I'm going home to sleep..............

2. who was the leader of the Labour party before Blair was elected?

Before he was elected leader of the Labour Party, or Prime Minister?

Blair was leader of the Labour Party before he was elected Prime Minister, so it could be that if you're being tricky.

Otherwise I'm sure it was John Smith.
