howwred
If the right offer comes in, we should sell. And SL is a business man, he'll make the best business decision. For an example of when to sell, look at Olympic Lyons in France - their philosophy has been to sell any player as soon as the valuation exceeds that placed on the player by the club. No exceptions. So as a result they've gone from being no-one to being CL semi-finalists in just over a decade. They use the money raised to scout out young talent, and take risks on it - not all of them pay off. OL tend to go for 20-23 year olds when scouting. I think we should follow this model. It keeps the coffers full and is attractive to players (conversely) because they can see that we get players to a higher level quickly. I'm probably not going to be popular for saying this, but there you go...
howwred
what a load of b@@@@@@ks, we don't need to sell, even if we keep nicky we still HAVE money to spend, did you not listen to sc/sl interviews, SORT IT OUT n stop chatting rubbish, we can afford to say no these days and happy days they are
Premiership or Bust
Fulham fan here, Wouldn't worry about it lads. Maynards agent (Not likely, it's his mum) is probably just banging the drum to get some interest in the lad. Or maybe he wants a new contract or something. Kit Symons is one of our main scouts and regularly scours the lower leagues and reports back, doesn't mean we are buying them

Once his head is turned, whether we need the money is not the issue. £5-6M and he would go with the Chairman's blessing.
