No doubt a reasonably high profile signing has a number of effects not least attracting others to say yes if they have been dallying with joining the likes of Coventry or Derby or Leicester; bastions of reasonably boring middle england compared to dynamic (councillors excluded) and historic Bristol and gateway to the glorious south west, God's own country. This is football in the 21st Century, that means **** all. I welcome any player to City who has scored a hat trick against the gas.
