Lack of Action Man
That's not true at all though is it, He's acted like a **** in quite a few of the games we've played against him. Does anyone know why he hates us so much? Secret gas head? failed transfer? he's a really good player, but a cock of the highest order. Wages? DANRPDAN
He is only an arse because he continues to score goals against us. Guess you saw the game on teletext and not in Doncaster He is and always will be a ****ing W****r
Sniper
Think it started in the season us and Scunny went up automatically and he's taken it from there. For some reason he seems to think it is great fun to make gestures at us and wind us up every game, personally I hope he suffers a serious injury soon. I can assure you that if I ever bump in to the short arsed little ****** he will get a serious injury. How much do a new set of teeth cost now adays? Dollymarie
Can anyone clarify what he actually did? When he scored his pen he ran over to where the City fans were winding them up about him scoring, then at the end of the game he made his way over to our fans again, and was blowing them kisses. He had to be told to move away by Gavin Williams.

MC Risk
Go back to the gas you daft P***K ha ha you tool....he will score 20+ goals this season which is exactly what we need while maynard is out.....take the blinkers off and admit he would add a lot to our squad before coming out with the customary "get off this forum u gas pr*ck" which is what people say when they dont have anything to back up a debate
fatman
Would still love to see him banging them in for us and giving the away fans grief well i wouldn't. Do you see nicky maynard behave like that. Did goater or taylor behave like that. Would atyeo have behaved like that. We are above that cr*p. His manager should read the riot act and he should be heavily fined. Would i want him here with that attitude? No chance
Bristolian76
That's your opinion which is great, mine is there's nothing wrong with a bit of arrogance if you back it up and to be fair he usually does. Mr Popodopolous
He's a good player no doubt, but such provocation is highly unprofessional conduct. Would I have him here? WellRedPhil
Just got back, what a f ** king *****! Totally uncalled for and unneccessary, it's not like we'd been giving him stick all game! He must of turned back to us about 5 times, much more interested in winding us up then celebrating with his own fans. He couldn't even resist a little pop at teh end, putting his arms out and making a 'come on then' gesture, notice how he did that a good 40 metres away from the our fans. Pathetic. slartibartfast
A prize **** of the highest order, disgusting enticing our fans every time he scores against us, the kisses at the end rubbed it in even more, deserves a smack. And you get guys like Adam Stansfield leaving us too early, sometimes life's not fair!
Alex_BCFC
I suspect a lot of you won't agree but my own take on it is this: I agreed with what Robbie Savage (shock) said on the way home- 'fans are willing to give it out for 90 minutes with alot of uncalled for insults to various players but when a player gives it back they can't take it'. Yes Sharp is clearly a guy that likes to wind people up and he may be a bit stupid, but fans should be able to take it if they give it out. I don't think he helped his case by returning to the City fans after the game had ended but at the same time he did nothing illegal etc- worse things are said/done by fans and gone unpunished. robins72
This is the 3rd time ive seen Sharp behave like a total prat. Last season he came over to City fans givin it the big i am! This season he got alot carrying it on for a good minutr or so after he scored. At least the ref booked him. What i didnt like was his behaviour after the game when he started walking towards the away fans blowing kisses. Why the need? The blokes an arsehole whos totally unprofessional. Hope he gets fined For his behaviour. He certainly msde the police life more difficult!

BITW
Not long got home from donny. Now I agree you shouldn't give it out if you cant take it etc... But today that little c*** crossed the line. The way he came over to the city fans at the end blowing kisses and saying "come on then" was beyond unprofessional. Needless to say he promptly turned around when he got 35 yards away and fans were getting seriously angry. Seriously name me one City player who would to what Sharp did today? I dont think its possible!

I couldnt agree with you more. why is it o.k to verbally abuse a player for 90 minutes, yet when a player gives a bit back fans cry and tell tat tit. Its pathetic. Banter is great. Abuse isnt acceptable. If you cant take it dont give it
Imperial1
He's a little man with a huge ego. The best way to get up his nose when he comes down the gate is to ignore him. He's too thick to be able to work that out. He loves the attention. Treat him like the insignificant tw4t he is.

I see what you're saying but I can't recall Sharp being given any abuse at all. In fact I don't think we sung one song about him! It's almost as if he wishes he was so important people bothered to abuse him, but he's really not that special. He's a great player at this level but what he did today was pathetic imo, I mean all that over a converted penalty that wasn't even a winning goal. What a joke. And yes I would have Billy Sharp, and he would behave, the club would not allow that sort of behaviour. What does that mean? How could you possibly know this? I'd have Sharp in the team cos he's a good striker, but I'm sure he'd be just as much of a c*** to other fans if he felt like it, although he does seem to give us a bit more for some bizarre reason. I mean, we hardly have a history with the guy.

Alex, that's a view that's often put in these circumstances, and I've got some sympathy with it. I don't think it excuses the player - two wrongs don't make a right - but if fans dish out abuse they're hardly in a position to complain.... That's pretty much what Robbie Savage was suggesting on 606 I think (the reception on the coach wasn't great!) But I don't agree at all with your view in relation to Billy Sharp today. I wasn't aware that he was getting any abuse at all.(after he scored, and all this happened, of course he was, but not before). Obviously, I couldn't hear what some individual at the front might have been shouting, but there was no abuse from the City fans generally, the whole game had been pretty good natured up to then, and in fact the City fans had just given the Doncaster sub (Steve Brooker) a warmer welcome to the field than he got from his own fans! Added to that, Sharp's gestures to the City fans were not limited to just celebrating the goal as he ran past: it was deliberate provocation, repeated three times: he even came back, after going over to the Donny fans at the side of the pitch, and had another go at us. And then came back over for a fourth time after the game. I'm not sure that worse things are done by fans and would go unpunished if so clearly seen: it was deliberate provocation, that could very very easily have incited crowd trouble, and there was just no reason for it. I spoke to the police after the game, and his view was that "the idiot could have caused us a lot of problems".
