here's my highs and lows of the season that will end on sunday.....

the lows...

the 5-0 win on the first day (set expectation levels far too high)

the pre xmas form (a cure for insomnia if ever there was one)

the poor treatment of joe burnell (i'm sure booing a player won't make him play better)

the fact we only scored more than 2 twice?

the games against stockport (away) and oldham (home) - getting that feeling that they were going to throw all the hard work away again.

lee miller's miss (i blame this for me having to queue for 5 hours on saturday)

the last day of the season - the worst i've felt after a city win

the highs...

the win against brighton away

the amazing winning run

the games against plymouth and qpr at home and barnsley away

the fact that we sold out the last five home games (when did that last happen)

reading the text message saying that murray had signed (quite emotional one)

tony rougier, robbo and several others proving a lot of people wrong

88 mins onwards in the playoff 2nd leg

this sunday??????????????????????

any others ?????????????????/

Na Miller's Header against the post against Swindle cost us more as it was a shocking miss which would have meant we'd be up already doh. High's Beating both QPR and Plymouth 1-0 at home. Lows Being too inconsistent against the lower teams i.e Sheff Wed, Wycombe etc. If had won those matches we would have walked away with the title with a record number of points I reckon.

A bit of a mixed bag this season. I seem to have been left frustrated a lot during games this season, but after the hard graft and struggle, we're almost there!

The highs:

The Goodfellow & Roberts goals on Wednesday and the sheer din of the crowd after we scored and at the final whistle.

The Peacock winner against Plymouth at AG.

Miller's volley at QPR and the celebrations afterwards.

Our fantastic winning run.

Beating Swindon at home because I bloody HATE THEM!!

Goodfellow's winner at Notts County and Tinman's 500th game.

The brilliant 4-1 win at Brighton.

Going top of the league at Grimsby.

Leroy's double at Brentford. A miserable game until the wonderkid came on!

Rougier and Murray signing.

Gurney's pen against the post last week. Couldn't have happened to a nicer bloke or team...

The lows:

The abysmal performance and result at Wycombe. Tommy's sending off didn't help my mood either...

The home defeat to Oldham - the performance of the team and the referee (how he never sent off that bloke for nearly choppin Mickey in half I still dont know!!)

Not being awarded a pen all season.

Miller's miss at Swindon. I really felt for the bloke, he's a youngster but still gets slated today for that one miss.

Seeing Swindon going 2-0 up at Brighton and the thought of us playing them in the final. All my mates support that scum, to lose to them at Cardiff would make me suicidal!

Our defeats at Sheff Wed and Stockport after our run came to an end.

Come on City, please do it on Sunday. I ****in hate this division and I never want to play Swindon again!!

Highs:

Notts County away - Goodfellow - Best day of my life.

Plymouth Home.

QPR Home.

Hillsborough defeat, yes i said defeat, it made me realise how much i love this club when i was singing wiping my crying eyes  .

Lows:

Highs...

Aaron Brown's last minute winner at Grimsby to send us top!

The two goals on Wednesday night - unbelievable.

Wins at Hartlepool (Tinnion's screamer) and Notts County (Last minute goal from Jolly)

The 11 match winning run

Lows...

Bizarre team selection and subs from Wilson, plus the usual rubbish coming out of his mouth.

The 3-0 loss at Wycombe - embarrassing, if nothing else.

In a strange way, the 1-1 draw at Hartlepool. They should have hammered us, and I hate it when we play with a defensive style, we're so much better than that

The 1-0 loss at Tranmere

The 1-0 loss at Blackpool after absolutely muddering them first half without taking our chances.
