Kilkenny, An Apology

It's not that simple Riaz. In the end it's down to eleven men on each side.

And if they are playing with the correct tactics and motivated then they can win.

You cannot say Milen had harder matches cause we beat Soton and drew with West Ham. Top 2 teams.

Right lets get something straight - because you needs things simplified.

Millen used poor tactics which meant the players were unable to play well.

McInnes uses better tactics (and selection) which allows our players to play well.

Kilkenny (and others) - why would he leave Leeds to come here and play badly on purpose? how would that benefit his career??!

You need to accept that millen is a poor manager.

I think you are both right in parts. Millen, wrong formation, wrong tactics.

Players, gave up and didn't look interested after conceding. As a manager there is so much you can do, when players give up, which they did on many occasions you are screwed.

Players need to take a long hard look at themselves, because the passion to win cannot change that much in a few weeks unless there is some ulterior motive. Some of the players have really taken the piss out of us fans paying to watch their efforts.

Put if this way, if players want a manager sacked, they can do it a lot easier than a manger wanting a player sacked.i will leave it like that

Man to man who cares about tactics or even remember what was said before the game?

It's their jobs, that's why you do research on the other team.

McInnes is known to do a lot of very indepth research on teams, and soton fans said how we knew them inside out today.

The players do remember, they were being told the tactics all week. Its not just a talk before the game.

Forget it.

I do not believe in anyhhing of this. Of course they have to come up with some bullshit as they have not been working for six days if they have been working at all during their employment. They are there to be sacked and in the meantime they pick the team.

They follow their managers instructions.

Players kept making the same mistakes under millen - it was up to millen to make sure the players did not repeat those mistakes - he failed.

McInnes spotted our mistakes quicky.

He got us to retain possesion - under millen we lumped it.

He's got us using albert better - albert now makes runs into space - under millen we would give albert the ball and expected him to take on 10 players...

When the opposition has the ball - we press them high up and done give teams time on the ball - under millen we sat back, invited pressure and defended for long periods - which led to goals.

This season HAS PROVED beyond doubt how much a effect a good manager (McInnes) can have and how much a bad manager (Millen) can have.

Some players are radio directed - got it.

Players need to use their heads - on line.

Best part is when a game is opening up (which manager decided that??) truly down to the players skills without any "involvement"

I supported GJ til after the Plymouth game. He was very good at taking the most out of his players.

But Tommy he then hid it so well they couldn't find it again.

By the way if your not smoking or popping then the only conclusion I can come to is that you check what sort of mushrooms your eating.
