beaverface
Come on Pearson keep your head son. Seems like he gets into the right positions. Bit of a strange one really. I know we need to totally rebuild our midfiled over the summer, but I thiink Pearson has done alright for us.

Lew-T
You post this, after we score a goal from midfield, of a fashion? Form isnt just about scoring, playing well and doing your bit also come into it and Pitman, just hasnt been doing it consistently enough this year. He got his recent run, based on one of his purple patches but has done nothing with it to cement his place in the starting XI or in today's case even the bench. Woeful performances dont mean that you will be a guaranteed starter, more so under Del. and if this had been another striker on the same run of naff performances, no goals and not looking interested the board would be quite rightly over the player like a bad rash calling for him to be dropped. So why is Pitman different? Yes and he's a loanee. The answer to your question is because he has potential to be a great striker. We have all seen what he can do, and I don't think I haven't seen anyone for years with a better finishing ability than him. Not just that but he has a great touch and vision along with that. The only thing that let's him down is his pace.
