Cambridge Batch Red
How about when we score we sing our own songs? Keep the foamhandsoccergoalthemetunes at plastic clubs like Reading.

Bristol Rob
just saw norwich and when they score they play a song should we do that to get the atmosphere up abit more Lord no. Don't you remember when they did that at The Gate? James Brown blasting out of the tinny little sound system. It might have worked better if the person in charge of pressing 'play' on the Goodmans ghetto-blaster understood anything about football, as 9 time out of 10, the music would be played even though the linesman had put his flag up. poland_red
it's one of the worst things to happen in 'new football'. with the atmosphere so crap now in all grounds, scoring is the one time when you do get the crowd singing organically. Superjack
Don't know about playing songs when we score... ...let's face it, they wouldn't be heard that often. I have always thought that this would be a great tune for us to run out to though... (ignore the "artist", just listen to the tune)... ... I've already got me coat.... 22A
In an ideal world, any song / announcement on the PA would be drowned out by the singing & chanting from the celebrating City fans.
Scrumpty
The only tune I want to hear is 'Drink up the cider' as I'm leaving the ground tonight!
Fiale
I am only if favor of playing something if the opposition scores - let the tannoys blare out silence towards the opposition fans so no matter how much they celebrate the reaction to a team scoring against us is a completely silent stadium - see how much that freaks out their players and unnerves them.
