Thank god today is about the result, it's an awful game. Are Pearson and Woolford playing?, I know Bikey, Foster and Mcgivern are playing and they look like parks players.

But the evidence is staring us all in the face yet again, our midfield is woeful, cannot keep possession and passing and tackling is dreadful, I know Cisse is not playing but even with him playing we do create enough, I just hope we get lucky today.

Cor don't know where you lot are getting lucky to be in front. Barnsley have had 4 shots all from 40 yards out! They can pass it round the centre spot all they want now, we still look more like scoring than them.

Stead and Wood holding the ball up well and bringing Adomah in who's finally having a good game. Fontaine battling well against Gray who is a tough bloke to play against. Foster dealing with Davis well, and McGivern with a couple of good tackles.

I don't think anyone is saying we are lucky to be in front, I think what people are saying is with Foster and Mcgivern giving the ball away with abandon and Bikey making mistakes, Woolford and Pearson gone awol, we are lucky that Barnsley have not turned the possession that we are gifting them into more meaningful stats, we are riding our luck in that regard.

Herb crusted loin of lamb with chickpeas, confit tomato, artichoke and goat's cheese:-

INGREDIENTS

Lamb

4 140g pieces of lamb loin

3 egg whites

100g of butter

Herb Crust

4 slices of bread, stale, made into breadcrumbs

olive oil

1/2 garlic clove, crushed

1 handful of thyme leaves

200g of flat-leaf parsley

Chickpeas

100g of chickpeas

1l of lamb stock

50g of butter

Confit tomato

6 plum tomatoes

olive oil

2 garlic cloves, sliced

1 tsp of thyme

1 tsp of rosemary

salt

pepper

120 of goat's cheese

Roasted artichoke

2 globe artichokes, cooked and cut into 6 wedges each

Spinach

250g of spinach

20g of butter

METHOD

1. Firstly make the confit tomatoes. Using a small knife, cut and core from the stalk end of the tomato then cut the opposite end to pierce the skin.

2. Plunge the tomatoes into boiling water for 1 minute and then transfer into iced water. Peel the tomatoes, cut lengthways and seed.

3. Preheat your oven to the lowest possible setting - around 80c / Gas mark 1/4

4. Lay the tomatoes on a tray and sprinkle with olive oil, garlic, herbs, and seasoning and place in the oven for 1-2 hours until they have started to dry.

5. For the crust, place all of the ingredients in a food processor and blitz until nice and green.

6. Dip the lamb into the egg white then roll in the herb crumb mix. Then, cook the lamb in large frying pan and season well on both sides. Add the butter and cook gently for 3-4 minutes on each side and rest for 10 minutes.

7. Roast the artichoke wedges for 10 to 15 minutes until golden brown and season.

8. Stuff the tomato petals with the goats cheese and then roll them into a cylinder shape and trim the edges. Warm slightly in the oven.

9. Warm the chickpeas in a simple lamb gravy made from reduced lamb stock finished with butter.

10. Saute the spinach in a little butter and season. Cook for approx 1 minutes.

11. Place a mound of spinach on each plate and top with the meat. Arrange the tomatoes to one side of the meat, and scatter over the chickpeas and lamb gravy. Serve immediately.

Bon appetito!

TFR.

Boys, we are here, and we'll be here next season :D

Is not a reason to be happy, we need few new players and next season we have to do the job better, even if we are not in the first 6 places, but in top 10 we need to be. Dreams about promotion transformed in "dreams about avoiding relegation".

Thanks Skuse, Thanks Stead and all player and coach. We are staying up and this is important at the moment. ( haha "rovers" - league two =)) )

Greetings from Romania !
