Weve offered him a contract so yes, unless we had to offer him atleast a yr? Problem is we offered him a couple of months so any hearing will basicaly consider us not rating him that highly so the fee will reflect that. Lucky to get 10k id have thought. Although perhaps the club were clever and, if the fee is based on wages, perhaps the three month offer had relatively high wages. Wishful thinking but you never know! We won't get anything for him as he didn't sign a deal. Therefore he is free to do whatever he wants and he's nothing to do with us any more. We will, he is under 23 and we offered him a contract, thems the rules as far as i know, that is how we got screwed over on Rosenior, we didn't offer him a deal in time. BCAGFC Pretty sure that he was mistakenly not offered a contract (however small) enabling Pompey to sign him for nowt. I seem to remember that Johnson was furious about it at the time.
