What Is Your Personality Type?

Feeling relaxed with a spare 5-10 mins and want to find?, Take Carl Jungs and Briggs Myers typological test, could change your life.

It could be very interesting for you if you've not done it, its pretty accurate in a lot of respects, can tell you what jobs you are most suitable for, people you are likly to get on with, don't get on with. If you've done before, tell us your type before you retake the test, I've taken it 3 times in last 5 yrs, and I'm still the same, I'm sure I was once more Alpha ..

Would be interesting to see some results from members, and I'm pretty sure I have a good few of you nailed, we will see. :smartass:

I'm INFP, I would have to say this accurate, sadly, of course.

Indeed, ISTJs are said to have a tremendous amount of respect for Facts, and base their opinions on known facts and logic. With regard to our league position, BCFC is floundering at the wrong end of the second tier of English football and this gives me the opinion that we're grossly underachieving with regard to money spent and to the population of Bristol. You'll find this sentiment in many of my posts.

I think the most interesting thing with this test is to compare your type now to that of your type in several months time when re-taking the test.

It's always been interesting to see results, and it seems that a lot of people use the test (worryingly a lot of career/work applications have been found) - the most interesting thing about it though is that it is not used by the Psychological profession.

Not sure about the last one. Being non-judgmental was a fundamental and essential quality of any type of counseling I ever undertook during my career. I like to think I still have and use those qualities ( apart from when it involves sporting opinion.....)

ISFJ

Introvert(11%) Sensing(1%) Feeling(38%) Judging(1%)

You have slight preference of Introversion over Extraversion (11%)

You have marginal or no preference of Sensing over Intuition (1%)

You have moderate preference of Feeling over Thinking (38%)

You have marginal or no preference of Judging over Perceiving (1%)

I then went here: http://www.personalitypage.com to see career types, plenty of mentions about management, although nothing specific about football clubs!

Did the same test quite a while back now and if i remember correctly i was ISFJ then too.

According to the page Gazred posted I'm a Doer:

Friendly, adaptable, action-oriented. "Doers" who are focused on immediate results. Living in the here-and-now, they're risk-takers who live fast-paced lifestyles. Impatient with long explanations. Extremely loyal to their peers, but not usually respectful of laws and rules if they get in the way of getting things done. Great people skills.

It doesn't explain why I've been sat on my ass all day reading t'internet..

Will retake and see!

Why thank you Gobbers. As Mrs Robbo has been on to me for about three months to fix a leak in the balcony roof, I am doubting how much of a 'doer' she'd think I was!!!

It is looking at your preference, what you feel most comfortable with, not how you necessarily behave.

Although these are very interesting and a useful too for self awareness, they are not a lot of use if you don't what you are doing with them.
