PFree Posted January 6, 2013 Author Report Share Posted January 6, 2013 I wanted Derek to be the man to bring us success so much. Just a shame it isn't going to happen. If and when he leaves I will hope he does well in his next job. He's definitely given this job a lot of his time and effort and really does care. I think we'll all wish him well but I now feel strongly that we should be building for the future, sadly, this is without Del as he's demonstrated his ineptitude as a manager - as sad as it is, he lacks tactical knowledge, seems never to have a meaningful plan B, has traded poorly in the transfer market, lacks contacts within the english game to help land exciting Premiership youngsters, and let's face, the players aren't stupid - even when some do well, they don't get picked for a second game so no continuity exists, only the undroppables such as Font's seem to be afforded such a privilege which must cause unrest?
