UREDS_91
In African Cup of nations squad for Ghana! Well done Albert. On a selfish note i'm gutted, we will miss him in the time he is away.
Gazred
Not the best news for the club but im sure we're all proud of Albert for making the cut. Bet his painting and decorating days seem a long time ago now. Good on the bloke. And he will be wearing the No.10 shirt apparently... http://www.ghanaweb.com/GhanaHomePage/soccer/artikel.php?ID=261639
bearded_red
Congratulations Albert. As much as we are going to miss him, I'm delighted for him. Couldn't happen to a nicer bloke. It was also a proud moment the other day looking through Ghana's squad list and seeing Bristol City listed next to teams such as Juventus.
Otiz Mir
Had me scared there with that title for a minute! Obviously, not great timing for City, but fantastic for Adomah. Completely deserves it. Do us proud son!

Robbored
If Albert has a good tournament then City could get big bucks for him in the summer. We'll need all the money to get to get out of Div 1.
Monkeh
should add at least a million on top of the 3 million quoted as an asking price, Gutted we're missing him but really happy for him personally could ask for a more honest pro then Albert

Mr Popodopolous
Then again Swansea paid 2M for Michu. English transfer market is overpriced. £2m for Michu, £5.8m for Pablo Hernandez from Valencia which comes to £7.8m...£8m for Connor Wickham,

Kingswood Robin
I wish Albert all the best. The rest of the team has become too dependant on him. At least this will force us to play a different way, maybe a bit more balanced. I thought this last season when Skuse and Elliott were out injured, we simply had to do something different in midfield and it sort of worked! TBW
In a perfect world Ghana will get knocked out at the earliest stage possible but Adomah will have the best few games of his life and bump his price up like Dave Cotterill did on his way to Wigan. Taylor10
Fair play to Albert. He deserves it. He has been a good servant to the club, and although inconsistent at times he has never let us down. I am pleased for him, a perfect example to all lower league players that if you get your head down and work hard you may be rewarded. Obviously the timing is far from ideal, but who knows, in a strange way it could help us. Albert is one of, if not our main attacking threat and a lot goes through him. Team's double up on him etc and now we don't have him it might force us to adopt a different strategy. I know we probably won't be that lucky, but who knows it might work out a good thing in the long run. Desperately short on wingers now though. The experience can only benefit him, and in the long term be good for us. He will be playing with and against some top players, and will hopefully learn a lot. As some have mentioned, it may even increase any potential transfer value if he has a good tournament. Gutted he is missing for a crucial part of our season, but good luck Albert. marcofisher
I don't think this is all bad, Adomah isn't the most consistent performer but when playing against some of the best players in the world should come back with more enthusiasm and ability from what he's learned, and hopefully be ripping opposition defences apart even more! 123456789000
He must be delighted and good on him. It's great to have a true professional at the club and he deserves this more than anyone. His back must be killing him from all the seasons where he's carried us so hopefully he'll get a nice break from that and come back to us refreshed. I might be in the minority but I don't think losing him now is too tragic. His leaving is timed nicely with Anderson getting a good run in the side and performing well. A lot of people though that Anderson would be Albert's replacement and I think he will slot into that RW position nicely for 4-6 weeks. Its much better we lose him now, than when Anderson wasn't fit/playing and we have no decent RM, or when its the last month of the football season and we're fighting for our Championship status and Anderson in injured or something. Aizoon
Is there anyone else in the squad of whom you'd say, on the way to the ground, "I wonder what X will do today"? In a good way, that is...
