Aizoon
You've got to envy Alan Whiteley. He went to Malaysia and came back with a rich brown Tan.
Slack Bladder
Seeing as they have just rolled over and sold themselves, I think the " Cardiff Whores " would be a more appropiate name.

Leveller
I just read that the Cardiff owners sons name is Robin! So perhaps now that the bluebird has gone he may name Cardiff after his son! Malaysia Robins anyone How about "Cardiff Orient"? Anybody know offhand where "Leyton Orient" came from? Just because it's East End?
glynriley
How about "Cardiff Orient"? Anybody know offhand where "Leyton Orient" came from? Just because it's East End? It comes from The Orient Shipping Company. (Now P&O)
Red751
Good spot sir. Seedy indeedy. So Tan not as wealthy as SL then. Hmm. SL is no where near as wealthy as Tan, SL worth about half as much
Spud55
SL is no where near as wealthy as Tan, SL worth about half as much Wouldn't 1.3$ billion be around 750-800 million quid, which is around what SL is worth? It's pretty similar either way. And anyway net worth is meaningless as it would be nigh on impossible for either man to realise the whole of their worth into capital anyway. Aizoon
It comes from The Orient Shipping Company. (Now P&O) Peninsular and Oriental, to be exact.
