BigTone
I can't help but feel that Bale is not going to take La Liga by storm. Hope I'm wrong, but I think - especially given the price tag - this could end in a massive anti climax. My thoughts exactly
TRL
Probably a smoke screen to make Madrid cough up. Apart from Man C there isn't anyone that could afford him. Unless Moyes is making one of his pointless bids or enquiries. Even so, this whole transfer saga really is the end of football as we know it. Psg or Monaco maybe? Seem to be chucking money around left right and centre. St Petersberg as well. All depends if Bale is after the money or Glory I guess.

Unless of course he is driven by the money.

Unless of course he is driven by the money. I think he will be gone. Levy is a books leveller. I'm 99% sure they know he is going hence their relatively high expenditure on players this summer. If he is still there come window closure it will be so far away from Spurs usual policy I would assume Levy had been possessed!

With the money they have spent it does seem as if they are planning for his exit. Levy will be left red faced if he doesn't go!

I fancy them for top four comfortably even without him. They have spent very well so far and have a very good young squad with plenty of competition. Tins
I've heard Wenger has bid £10.01 and a packet of wine gums.
CheddarReds
The money Spurs are spending has got to be Bale's fee. I could imagine a couple signings to try and make Bale stay but no, he's gone. With the dealing they've done and the squad Spurs have I think they'll make top 4 this year, with or without Bale. YGBjammy
Hearing Moyes after the game it is clear that United have bid for him. Yeah I thought it sounded like that too. Spurs would surely rather sell abroad though at the end of the day.

formerly known as ivan
Bale staying in the prem wouls seriously mess up my fantasy football team. Hope he goes to Madrid!
The Right Honourable Les Q
Is Bale okay? I only ask because over the past three, four weeks, he seems to have been inside a car. Is he doing some sort of David Blaine? Is it a protest? Have the windows been left open a crack?
