chipdawg
Surely West Brom v Newport is nailed on for being on tv? Reasonable draw for us though; definite chance of an upset

REDOXO
This is a great opportunity for the club and SOD. Palace really is a good draw! Panto villain plus former manager with a under used former winger thrown in!! You could not make this shit up. I think we are nailed on to be on telly, with the media waiting for the first whiff of Holloway blood! Fantastic. I think I just read that we should play a second team....Not Likely! This team needs confidence and playing a side like this and getting close even is a lift! The fact is we have been screaming for a cup run for years (and so has the Chairman) we need to take the opportunity of some revenues, hopefully a big home crowd and some TV money and 4king go for it! Really what do we have to lose? The manager has covered nearly every position and if we pick up a knock we are finally in a position to swap players out...Allbeit a youngster! That what we wanted was it not! CYOR
eric04
Last time he was a Premier League manager Holloway used to make wholesale changes for cup games. I have no doubt it'll be a second XI Palace. Good news for us.

Dolman Block B
Can't see Holloway risking his first team - he'd be more than happy to 'concentrate on the league' and make it look like he doesn't care - probably some underhand jibes lined up too. Disappointed to get a team we have played a lot recently - Yoevil are at home, will that affect our tie? As for Sky games, the should be rules against the same team being on tv 'x' amount of times in the cup, but it doesn't really matter to anyone outside of the clubs that aren't on TV. Hopefully they'll try and play football though - would love to win and progress though Trust me he will do anything to get one over on us!! Always Believesham
Trust me he will do anything to get one over on us!! I'm thinking - if he play's a first team and they bottle it/are out classed/loose their heads - it'll look far worse on him than a win can make him look good as a manager. If he plays a second string team and they lose it'll be no big news, if they win, it'll mean as much as playing a full strength team and winning. 'Orns
Bloody hell we've won one Cup game in the last 20 years and all of a sudden we're talking up our chances of beating a Premiership team....lets calm it down gentlemen Awful draw, horrible club, even worse manager - he won't put a 2nd team out and run the risk of City knocking him out
BCAGFC
Hate Palarse as a club Hate Palarse's scummy fans Hate Palarse's **** of a manager Overall, I ******* HATE them. But I expect some knobs will clap Mr Banjo Island, when we walks along the touchline.
redeye
Hopefully Palace suffer a drubbing in their Prem game/s prior to their visit to AG - which will heighten the pressure on Holloway. A nothing to lose draw for us - all the pressure on Holloway..... Then a 'big' club in round three...

HIGHRIDGE BCFC
Hate Palace fans they are real scum, so I reckon it's not a bad draw, we are at home, and we always beat the filth at home, so bring it on. [ How do you class 'real scum'? In my experience they've been non entities for 40 years.
WolfOfWestStreet
I really hope we beat those person I disagree with tard, chav ***** from Croydon who think they are some kind of superior beings because they live in London. Despite the fact, that part of the capital is an absolute scrote infested cesspit full of knuckledragging Danny Dyer types who think they are pwoppa hard because they have a John Terry Haircut and drive a Ford Escort van with alloy wheels which they think makes them look like a man with a trade when in fact they use it to drive to the job centre to sign on. *****s
OldlandReddies
Loving the draw. Should be a red hot atmosphere. Splits the 2 away games up nicely to and gives us something to look forward to. Really look forward to the night games and we aint going to get too many this year unless we progress in the cups. Esmond Million's Bung
I suspect this was probably the worst draw Holloway would have wanted. East End Old Boy
What was he saying? He was being asked about a potential signing from Arsenal and when asked if a medical was taking place "I only deal with what's on the grass". This may be true but you could see by his eyes that he was spoiling for an argument and the journalist was stumbling.
22A
last time we played palace in league cup we got a semi onTrue! The omens are there. In the 70s we were in the top division and lost to CP in the League Cup.88-89 Palace were an a higher division than City and we knocked them out of the League Cup.Here we are again, meeting in the League Cup and they're the team in a higher division.
