Red_Jim
Any London Premier League team away please. Arsenal/Spurs/Chelsea would be perfect. Or a winnable game at home. Just not Peterborough, please.
westred1
Saints away would be good as I practically live on the doorstep of St Mary's. Always Believesham
If it's not one of the 'giants' don't want a home tie ... how about Wigan away though? they'll have started their "European" campaign by then Just an away game will do if we get anyone outside the top 8 of the prem though. Almost willing to put money on Posh though, it's been a while since we played Leicester/Everton in a cup...

Super
Would love any of the big teams at home, especially spurs, man ure, man city or chelsea as I can't stand those teams so to beat them would make it even better Yes we could then test out our new ticketing system. The Casual Connoisseur
Anyone in Yorkshire or Manc Land away would do me; obviously Man Utd or Man City is the dream tie, but for convenience (and for it to be a bit more winable) Huddersfield or Leeds would be good I'll have a bit of that, old Trafford 30 mins walk, Etihad 20 mins.......pretty please. Drew Peacock
But have you seen the thousands of Bristolian Man Ure fans crying at the defeat to there local club? They weren't local plastic mancs (I don't think, as they weren't really around then), but when we beat them there were one or two exiting the ground in tears. I found it a little bizarre. cider-manc
Wouldn't want Man U away (in this round) as it would be a less than half full old Trafford, watching Man U reserves and paying the equivalent of a lower prem game ticket. They would be more than welcome at the gate. In a perfect world (for me) Man City away or a trip to Anfield. Would take Arsenal away, as although it is the Kids they play you are guaranteed a full house as they normally slash the ticket prices for the league cup to £10 in the lower and £20 in the upper. To be honest I'm just enjoying the fact we can talk about it!!!
Super
Wouldn't want Man U away (in this round) as it would be a less than half full old Trafford with no regulars attending, watching Man U reserves and paying the equivalent of a lower prem game ticket. Fiale
Accrington at home - more games for the team to play and get their mojo going (also would mean Accrington had beaten Cardiff). More games, more chances to gel, more money for the club, and through to yet another round.

cider-manc
Yes last season in round 3 they had newcastle at home and got 46,000. We are not Newcastle. Not saying it still isn't a big crowd, more that the price of the ticket could be silly for what it is-Man U didn't lower the cost of cup games last season. Meaning tickets could be £40-50 if they do the same this year. For that reason I would pick other away ties over it tis all. Still would be high on the list! Ties will be played in the week commencing September 23rd Bugger. I'm not in the bloody country! Tranmere/Hull then please!!
