Who are these "lads" if there are any in the city ends they are sure to be quiet which at the end of the day is fair enough and not a problem in my eyes, hopefully they will have the sense to keep their heads down, when you say" lads" does that mean they will be looking for trouble?

Its easier said then done, but the police are just as untrustworthy as the next thug. If you get pulled and genuinely don't know why, wait for your brief, don't let them convince you into signing anything on the pretence youll out by 10.

http://www.urban75.org/legal/rights.html

Read the above.

Easier said then done I know, but in reality fans dont often do anything wrong but get bullied into signing or acfepting charges etc with no evidence or chance of conviction.

They will try to sweat you out, tell you a duty solicitor will take hours and only make it worse, but if you feel youve done nothing that warrants a criminal charge/caution, then say nothing and wait for your brief.

Cctv works to ways, when they loose it like at Cardiff, film them, take pictures and dont let them get away with it.

They are not above the law, they are not the law, they are paid by you and I to uphold the law.

Far as I'm aware most rovers lads had shit running down trousers since draws been made, they might turn up mob handed up in old market but that's about as good as it gets for them

I would have thought that Old Market was where they spent most of their free time anyway.

Hello sailor..!

Time the OB got there own house in order, some of Avon/Somerset finest antics of late leave a lot to be desired, sex on duty, theft, drink driving, you naughty boys and girls. As for banning orders, just a money making racket, the more we get banned the more we for our Christmas p-ss up.

Probably gutted that they are falling behind Heddlu with their banning figures following the joke that followed the Cardiff game.

Guess the Welsh Police are on for a better Xmas party this year?

I wonder how many working tonight will be on this infamous list of names the EP is trying to get published?

As for the OP - not sure if you are a WUM or just talking out of your arse!

Best not to believe everything you are told, and read the facts as put by others in this topic!

Am sure that there will be three different groups of hooligans out on duty tonight

this tunnels thing is very good. :P ... although the last 2 derby games , the friendly and in 2007 i witnessed 2 large escorted mobs of rovers , so escorts yes but tunnels im not so sure? as for today im sure i will be the same as usual with the police more than incontrol as they have all the power, if you punch a fan tonight your likely to get a battoned to hell , arrested and bange dup for 3 months where as the police will free wheel there batons at will and cover there numbers and get away with whatever they like , only one "mob" can win away from the pitch and it wont be Rovers or City, dont think you'll find the gas in old market this time either ... a change of tact maybe? :gasmask:

City will no doubt find you cookie!!

Even came hunting you down in old market for the friendly eh?

Best hope gas have got is to get into a pub around bs3 area early as poss to claim there result!!!

All joking aside, one winner tonight n it's old bill, they will entice as many nicking as possible to justify themselves.

City have probs learned from Cardiff but could be alien to the gas?

Hope no one rises to police provocation tonight

I'm sure that most of you have seen the zero tolerance policing article in the evening post today and I just thought I would make a quick thread to inform anyone that is attending the game tomorrow a few extra things which were not mentioned in that article. Firstly, all of the police out tomorrow have been given the power by the magistrates court to shut down any pub at any time they wish to. Secondly, any fan seen to be causing any sort of issues will be put straight into a van and given an instant 3 year ban, no questions asked, this has also already been agreed with the magistrates court. I have also been informed that there will be a very large number of police out tomorrow night in civilian clothing, around the grounds, in the pubs and they also have a number of tickets in the dolman and east end. So tomorrow night I suggest that all of you are on your best behavior (I know that this only applies to a small number of 'fans'). Here's hoping for a famous city win!

Glad to hear this. The Fuzz should round up all the troublemakers (both sides), hurl 'em into the Mem, throw away the keys, and let 'em sort it out amongst themselves while the rest of us enjoy the game in peace!

they wont find me  my days of going with the "lads" are long gone too much too lose , now im older and a bit wiser, mugs game more than ever now .

As per norm the only chance of any bother is if the result goes against city, the infamous pitch invasion with players attacked after beadles late equalizer, the advertising hoardings at Twerton during the 3-0 and at again at the front of the dolman at ashton after the beadle 2-0, the main trouble normally comes after city get turned over on the pitch ( so i guess you will all expect no trouble at all!)

Wasn't it your lot that invaded the pitch first that day?
