Eddie Hitler
That's good news. I couldn't stand this "brand" stuff so goodbye Guy. I like the idea of the four man board, especially as it contains Ernie Arathoon, local guy, huge fan, and astute businessman. That's not to take away from anybody else but I think he really brings something to the club.

downendcity
With the amount of reshuffling we do I'm sure it must be my turn on the board soon. You have to pre-book a ticket and then have it scanned at the Dolman turnstile before you get your turn.

ciderbeans
I reckon price was going stale in his role and needed a fresh change. New ventures always seems to be the excuse but the club is on a new adventure so why leave. The price was just not right. Sorry bruce

In which case, what does that tell us (and who's in control of AV/AG plans, decisions?). Doesn't J Lansdown's new role sounds bit Nick-Clegg-like? tinman-is-god
JL promoted. Staggering. I read it the other way. A vice chairman's role has less power than that of the Chief Exec, surely. Chief Exec the most powerful role in any football club other than the chairman. I think this is a 'promotion' in order to keep him out of the way.
Bat Fastard
JL promoted. Staggering. This may not be quite what it seems. JL has moved from running the club to having a title and a seat on the board. Maybe it was thought that Doug Harman had more experience and that Jon will become a figurehead chairman when Mr Dawe steps down. In other words, he is standing in for his Dad and may take a similar role in Bristol Sports in years to come. I just hope that it stiffens the resolve to build Ashton Vale and not be shunted up a cul-de sac with the Ashton Gate revamp.

In that he will have little power, but it looks like he does. Good move by the club, moving the problem to a manageable location.

Red-Robbo
Price paying the price ? Indeed. if he's the bloke behind the disaster of ticketing outsourcing, I'm not surprised they've sent him back to university...

Fodbarmyarmy
I am sure all of this is good for the club.....
