Red white and red
I was walking in this escort, minding my own as I do at all home and away games and saw one of our 'fans' just rip a wing mirror off of a parked van?... Ok we were all gutted to lose a derby game and especially with a late goal like that, but come on?, a completely mindless act that will cause a hard working family man/women money to get their vehicle fixed!... Some people just can't help but behave like morons, can anybody explain the point of this act to me?, I'm clearly naive!.

TV Tom
Thanks for the link. Going to lodge a complaint. Good luck with the complaint, will be swept under the carpet though, ever heard of an off-duty Policeman being done for drink-driving or speeding? OB are a law unto themselves. Admin phantom Posted September 23, 2013 Admin Report Share Posted September 23, 2013 Was strangely policed all day, Temple Meads had Heddlu and Welsh transport police. In Chippenham and on the train from there, the BTP were from Wolverhampton. Devon and Cornwall police were in and around the town centre. But strangely no sign of any A&S or Wiltshire police ??? Crackers Corner
Did anyone film it? I'm not suggesting for a minute that whit is posted on here didn't happen, but in the digital age and most people with a camera phone it would be a good idea to film it for evidence. The police certainly do. It would help with any subsequent complaints. I was a very young kid at Walsall all those years ago and have seen both good and bad policing first hand. There are no laws to stop you filming in a public location.
Pickle Rick
Seemed a mixed bag with the police. Depending on which one you were talking to, depended on their attutude. Some professional enough to respond, others were disgraceful and don't look at us as humans. Granted there were dicks within the 'box' they created, but not enough of an understanding from the police that most of us were fine. We were guided toward the station and had no choice, wanted to go the opposite way - the other side of the big Tesco. Two times an officer allowed us to leave the pack and go our seperate way, only for another robocop to run at us and grab/shove us shouting "get back". Eventually, on the second occasion the police bloke stopped his 'little man syndrome' robocop friend and told him to get off us and let us go our own way. One copper also said "we're being hunted" by Swindle folk. Hunted? Really? They knew where we were... Finally got away but realised why there are so many complaints about the attitude of a lot of police toward the public on these occasions. Would be fair to say that we had a minority of dicks, but so did the police. This is a disgrace. I won't bother complaining to the police as they'll file it and ignore it. I don't have video footage or the 'number' of the crap officers. It would be better if the police took note of forums such as this one to see if there is any complaints or issues that are possible to address. What I expected was to be treated as an individual, not sterotyped as a trouble maker who is apparently 'in danger'.

The BTP were from the midlands as was chatting to one of the officers on the train back. We joined the escort voluntarily as got a bit disorientated when we came out and forgot the way back. Just want to say apart from the time it took to get there the escort was pretty harmless. Only things is saw were some handbags from one kiddie and a copper and some nause throwing coins at someone's window. Not all city fans are hooligans and not all police are barbaric, you get the odd one from either side but if you act like a dick you get treated like one.
