The Swan and Cemetery
8,000 crowd? We'd have had 30,000 at Eastville That's only to be expected given the England team would all have been Rovers players (ressies naturally, first team would have been off with Germany, Brazil, Spain etc). New Dazzler
New Zealand 45-9 Tonga 03/10/99 Incredibly, ESPN lists the attendance as 22,000. If I remember they used every seat including 6,000 in the East End and no segregation, probably the crowd was just under 22,000 but rounded up by ESPN. Also international cricket (but not as we know it perhaps!) England v Rest of the World in September 1980
wendyredredrobin
I remember going to an England under 23 match versus Wales (I think) many years ago. Chris Garland was on the bench for England but never made an appearance.
