20th March 1899 : England 4 - Wales 0 City didn't play at Ashton Gate at this time, but Bedmister did

17th March 1913 : England 4 - Wales 3 Billy Wedlock was picked for this game but missed it through injury

I believe I'm right in saying that in those days England put out teams against Wales and Ireland on the same day.

New Zealand 45-9 Tonga

03/10/99

Incredibly, ESPN lists the attendance as 22,000.

If I remember they used every seat including 6,000 in the East End and no segregation, probably the crowd was just under 22,000 but rounded up by ESPN.

Also international cricket (but not as we know it perhaps!) England v Rest of the World in September 1980

The All Blacks also played at Ashton Gate twice in the 90's, once against England A and once in the World Cup vs Tonga.

Other than the two full internationals against Wales and the under 21 game against Italy I think that is it
