johnboy
Just found out nicky maynard is available on loan. Anyone think he may want to return? i don't think so with championships clubs queuing up for him. http://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/cardiff-city-striker-nicky-maynard-6470055

Cider Queen
Living the dream isn't he! Bench warming in the prem. I'm sure he'll do a decent job if he stays fit which seems to be a problem for him at the moment.
Lrrr
My dad made the comment at the Watford game, how many goals would Nicky have scored for City if he'd been getting the service that our strikers have been this season.

Put it this way, Baldock will never score 20 goals in a Championship season.
freezer
If we could afford him, and he'd be willing to return, after all the crap that was spouted up to and after he left. I'd be very happy for him to return and show us what he could do. On past form in his time here here, he would more than tick the boxes.

hippy273
Sounds like he's continued to be injury prone even after missing almost a whole season with us. He seems to be out forever.

Corleone
**** me some fans are ridiculous! Yes he didn't have the balls to speak out about being sold, but **** me he ain't some Judas who should go down as one of BCFCs greatest scum. The bloke did quality for us, and is still head and shoulders above his replacement!!
Dollymarie
After everything he said about Bristolians, and not wanting his son to grow up speaking like us? No thanks.
Pickled Onion
After everything he said about Bristolians, and not wanting his son to grow up speaking like us? No thanks. Not to mention the complete lack of interest or performance once he knew he was moving on. No respect for the guy at all - matching his total lack of respect for Bristol City and the people of the City of Bristol.
Aizoon
After everything he said about Bristolians, and not wanting his son to grow up speaking like us? No thanks. Red
After everything he said about Bristolians, and not wanting his son to grow up speaking like us? No thanks. Not only that it would be a culture shock for his son, Sheep to English, be like learning a new language!
screech
Not that he would anyway but, I would never want to see him here again. He was good for about 18 months of his time here. The way mr charisma conducted himself in his final year wont be forgotten by many. I said I believed his injuries would put a stop to his career, he's another footballer who is living off a past reputation, anyone gambling on him now will be throwing good money down the drain. GrahamC
Even if we were interested he'll get a far better offer than us so all academic.
samo II
After everything he said about Bristolians, and not wanting his son to grow up speaking like us? No thanks. Agreed. Seemed a decent pro up until and including his move, but then mouthed off when he'd have been better advised just moving on. Even with his injury worries he'd likely walk into our team, but I'd doubt he'd ever come back, and I'm not keen to see him here.
Jesus
As if his ego would let him come back here. He'd have a million better offers including Yeovil.
CotswoldRed
As if his ego would let him come back here. He'd have a million better offers including Yeovil. Exactly. More ego than talent. And he's a talented footballer.
RedM
I think he has burnt his bridges here. He hardly conducted himself with good grace and professionalism after he left, never mind how he was when he was here. Leave him to sort out another club to mug a living from, he's had all he is going to get from us.
