Well ,sort of .

He's getting his excuses in ahead of their thrashing at the hands (or feet) of the super reds !

We know we will win by 4 or 5 just because we are Bristol City.

Joe Dunne go and learn some proper mindgames because you are n't fooling us with your feeble attempt

If your coaching is as innovative as this no wonder you're in the brown stuff ( no fellas i don't mean gravy )

"Steve Cotterill has galvanised them and made some shrewd signings. Just look at some of the players he has taken and that comes with a big club and a big budget.

"Now they're in a position where they are kicking on.

"It's an incredibly tough game. They will probably be expecting to beat us.

"Everyone when they come to Colchester, when you read what they say, it's a three-point game.

"They'll have a big crowd and we'll be little old Col U against a big city club again and we have to show our usual attitude and determination."

We're doomed, then...

I said on another thread, it aint (only) us that says we are "big" its other people just as much, too. How do we shake off this useless "big" thing (other than another relegation and most of us giving away games a miss)?

Looking at it again, does it remind you of exactly the sort of thing one of our previous managers would say ?

Lets hope it is just as effective. Talking up your opponents who are on the same points and similar goal difference......SOD would be wetting himself over that one

In fairness it sounds like they wanted to,(give us the three points) but then after we were 2nil up it started to look like we were looking a gift horse in the mouth.... So to teach us that wasnt a good idea, Colchester decided to take a couple back.

Hope we've learned well & wont throw winning leads away so easily in future, thanks for the valuable lesson you C's.. !!
