'Orns
My OCD has a real problem with centre backs wearing 4, was hoping that was going to be given to a midfielder now Fonts has gone Also, going back to my fav summer moan subject, was disappointed to be told by Adam Baker on twitter that the new style numbers they teased on the kit reveals are for Cup competitions only, and the FL is keeping that awful font they have been using for years. How many different fonts are there? Lots of bollocks about various Fonts in this boring post I've just made!

westred1
Surprised El Abd took number 6! Agree that 4 and 8 should be CMs, 7 right mid, 11 left mid, 2, 3, 5, 6 should be defence.

'Orns
Why has Cunningham got 17?! He should be 3 surely? He could've had it last season too, guessing he has a fondness of 17 Maybe he's like Bentdner and wears his weekly wage as his squad number? WolfOfWestStreet
It's not Louis Carey's shirt. It's Bristol City's shirt, it was on loan to Louis.

'Orns
Too young to remember Gerry Gow then? Oh my. How did I reference Bremner to 4 and not Gow? I feel dirty. Apologies to all And, yes. CiderJar
at them giving Parish a number that's waaaaaaaay out there. Yep, I'm sure he's feeling valued, 13 places away from the next used shirt number. "Here you go Elliot; shirt number 36, we reserve the right to sign 12 more goalkeepers ahead of you in the pecking order"

'Orns
Yes, unfortunately too young but have heard about the man's greatness! Never saw him live either mate, apart from Man City in the 81 Cup Final, which was on the tv - I wasn't there, you get what I'm saying though! redpole
I take it 19 is left for another striker as they usually go for 19 after 9 and 10 gone!
redysteadygo1
Too young to remember Gerry Gow then? If your thinking of "hard men" No 4s then can go back to Gordie Parr and I am sure the legendary Ernie "Ginger" Peacock also graced that number. ciderbeans
Ayling probs preferred 22. I'm sure el abd won't be a prominent feature this season, or I hope at least. We shall see. Bryan should have got 11, waggy should have got 7 and smith should have got 4 or
