Worst Fans In The Country

I really hope that when our ground is fully redeveloped, we can do something about the lack of atmosphere.

At grounds like Palace and Forest, they have sections of fans that sing on both sides of the away supporters... so you've got the opposition singing at you from all directions. It sounds impressive and often drowns out any noise from away fans.

We should create a singing section in the part of the new williams stand closest to the atyeo, and maybe another on the other side in the dolman A block.

One thing's for sure, things arent going to get better unless we do something about it!

Palace moved the away fans seasons ago ... Bristol City's scamps going boo had a bit to do with it.

Forest its one side casuals, chaps, herberts, lads ... Call it what you want but it isn't a singing section.

Your details are little incorrect about Crystal Palace as the away fans are housed at the opposite end of the Arthur Waite stand, and the home support either side are family sections, or similar. The HF who lead much of what occurs within the Holmesdale stand would not describe their corner as a singing section.

Why wait till the ground is fully redeveloped? Why not start now?

Elsewhere there plans as soon as the South stand design and its seating bowl images are revealed to attempt to start organising ourselves. The intent is to distribute information amongst the obvious elements of support as was done prior to moving into the Eastend in 2007, and the Williams this season.

The Williams singing section could be viewed as a contrivance of modern football to move away from.
