BS4 on Tour...
Good: London Road (Peterborough Utd) St Marys (Southampton) Vale Park (Port Vale) Oakwell (Barnsley) Hillsborough (Sheffield Wednesday) Selhurst Park (Crystal Palace) The Riverside (Middlesbrough) Bad: Molineux (Wolves) The Hawthorns (West Brom) Cardiff Citys new stadium County Ground (Swindon Town) Bloomfield Road (Blackpool) Bramall Lane (Sheffield United) Valley Parade (Bradford City). Palace??! Haven't we lost something like 15 of the last 19 at Selhurst?!
cidered abroad
One for the pensioners that (no pun intended). In the 75-76 promo season, we drew up there and when a year or two later they were promoted the games at the Bridge were always draws. I can't remember City winning at Chelsea, but seemingly, we ain't lost there either (that I can remember). We have never won at The Bridge BUT neither have they ever won a league game at The Gate! If we get to the promised land "Somethin's gotta give".
NiceRed
I've seen us win loads at the New Den. Apart from our last promotion season. Funny feeling we've got a good record at Bournemouth, though the only time I've seen us there was a 3-1 cup defeat in the rain.
One BCFC
Palace??! Haven't we lost something like 15 of the last 19 at Selhurst?! Oh, just happy memories with playoffs I suppose.
S. Bristol Born & Red
West Ham is poor hunting ground for us..although we beat them at Upton Park in 1978 in the top flight, nearly every visit since then has ended in defeat (including a couple of 'hammer'ings 0-5 and 1-6). We did get a credible 0-0 on our last visit though....
Marina's Rolls Royce
Pretty good record at Portishead Decent at Bradford
Wanderingred
I forgot about the Riverside! We've never lost there(except on a penalty shootout after a 2-2 draw). Our games there have been 2 wins and 2 draws. And also the Bescott Stadium, Walsall where we've won 3 and drawn 1 out of our last 4 visits. havanatopia
Just an idle thought, which grounds do City generally do well at? I've set the bar with City winning at least three of their last four visits to any particular ground. To start the ball rolling; P'boro', Coventry, S****horpe, Wrexham and Chester. Other side of the coin, I can't recall City winning at Wolves or Everton in the last 60 years. We usually do well at Highbury!!.. i mean both grounds. Paul Cheesley yeahhhh
Northern Red
Ewood Park is a bad one. We'd never won at Tranmere until about 10 years ago, including a 6-0 hammering, although we've won twice in the last 4 visits there.
22A
Ewood Park is a bad one. We'd never won at Tranmere until about 10 years ago, including a 6-0 hammering, although we've won twice in the last 4 visits there. Similarly we'd seemingly never won at Hartlepool or Northampton, but we've not done too badly on our last few trips to those clubs. How's our recent record at Exeter and or Torquay, that might just fit the category?

The 0-6 was a Friday night game, and I remember they featured the 'highlights' on Saint & Greavsie on the Saturday morning. Greavsie was taking the p1ss out of our defence as Tranmere scored at will....

Guest
This one - http://www.11v11.com/matches/plymouth-argyle-v-bristol-city-30-september-2003-16968/ From memory we got battered for first twenty, scored on the break and then held on for a memorable win. Crazy to look at the crowds Plymouth were getting back then.
